I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have such amazing students in my life. They are the best gift of all! @ToLbhs #ProudtoBeLB
In 2008, my fellow cellists and I performed this piece together on stage at the Crane School of Music. It was one of the most fun things I ever did at college. This month, many of us reunited virtually to re-create the experience. It was so fun!

Lots of smiles behind these masks. I’m so proud of all my students for their dedication and resilience this year! Nothing can stop the music department! #ProudtoBeLB @ToLbhs
Today, we received two more absolutely stunning, high-quality instruments from @kolstein_music in Baldwin! We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful relationship with a store that provides outstanding instruments and services for string students.
Congratulations to our very own Maya Arengo on being the Salutatorian for the class of 2021!! Another music student at the top of the class 🎶 #ProudtoBeLB
Already making great progress! We’re together and having fun, and that’s the ultimate goal this year 😊 #SymphonicGreen #ProudtoBeLB
Our students made it through the week with smiles. We played our instruments, completed assignments, played at home, and even played a little for Dr. Newman and @JMyersLBHS today! Things are moving along slowly but surely. So happy to be back with my kids 🥰 #ProudtoBeLB
Our virtual students played along with us from home today! We’re together even when we’re not. Nothing can stop the music! #ProudtoBeLB
Our concert orchestra off to a great start. The first time we are playing together- warming up with easy quartets. So proud of my 9th graders for their hard work so far in a new environment! #ProudtoBeLB
We got to play a little in class today and it was wonderful! Here is Symphonic Orchestra working on music for the first time as a group. I have the best kids in the world and I’m so happy to be working with them again! #Wegotthis #slowandsteady #ProudtoBeLB
