This is a parentβs worst nightmare. A man was ejected from his seat and fell to his death from the Goliath hypercoaster at Six Flags Over Georgia, reportedly right in front of his son on the ride while his wife and daughter watched from the ground.
Multiple witnesses at the Austell park say he struck the ride structure several times as he fell, and other traumatized guests pulling back into the station were screaming that his restraint was completely unlatched and unlocked.
How does a flagship, 200-foot-tall coaster train return to the platform with an empty, fully unlatched seat while park security forces emergency evacuations and threatens to kick out anyone taking photos? Six Flags can drop all the corporate, cookie cutter "deeply saddened" statements they want, but a mechanical failure this catastrophic demands immediate, brutal accountability. Absolute gross negligence.

Bryan Cranston pays tribute to RJ Mitte
βIβm in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on 'Breaking Bad' has died. I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm. Born with Cerebral Palsy, he never β ever β allowed that challenge to be an excuse for anything. He met the demanding shooting schedule head on with great determination"
βAlways listening to the advice that his TV parents (Anna Gunn and myself) gave him β but being a teenager, sometimes mischievously ignoring the counsel in order to learn the hard wayβ¦ He was one of the stars of a hit TV show β but still a kid. That kid was pretty raw when we started shooting the pilot in February of 2007, but little by little we watched him grow into a really fine actor. He parlayed his experience on the show to be a vocal advocate for performers with disabilities, and was the head of a philanthropic organization with a focus on helping the disabled community. All that promise and potential now is such a loss"
βIt is especially devastating to hear that he took his own life,β he wrote. βWhy? We were texting each other just a few weeks ago β figuring out when we could meet for lunch. I donβt know if that lunch would have changed his futureβ¦ But I do know that I loved him, and thoroughly enjoyed being with him throughout the years on the series, and after the spotlight on 'Breaking Bad' dimmedβ¦ Iβll miss you, son"
OMG. Commanders are bigger joke than the Eagles today. They ran the ball with 10 seconds left and couldn't spike it on time. All they had to do was not run it and spike it then hit the game-winning FG.

- Makai Lemon goes out of bounds
- Kick the ball to the Jags with 0:07 and no timeouts instead of just kicking it out of the back of the end zone
Maybe the most mismanaged final 10 seconds of a game in NFL history
The Eagles lost this game at many points but the clearest point they lost it was when Makai Lemon went Out of Bounds on 2nd down, preserving time for the Jaguars.
You stupid idiots! Punt the ball faster! You just wasted a fee timeout by losing the 2-minute warning.
