LA County Residents near the #BobcatFire will see a large plume of smoke near Mt. Wilson. This is from a strategic defensive operation in the area. This operation will bring the fire's edge to HWY 2 ensuring the fire won't jump the HWY.

Strategic firing operations are taking place to protect the infrastructure around Mt. Wilson. The firing operation is going as planned. Firefighters are taking advantage of favorable weather conditions. Crews and equipment will be staffing the #Bobcatfire throughout the evening.

If only there was an alternative to individual local council persons vetoing complete streets.. like say a LA county transportation agency that coild plan regionally significant arterial streets to ensure there were workable networks of bus lanes, protected bike lanes, etc
.@PaulKoretzCD5 is killing Uplift Melrose. Despite a majority of residents, businesses, both schools, religious institutions & both NCs supporting. If that’s not enough to get a transformation project done in LA w/free $50M from CA, nothing is. It’s why we can’t have nice things.
