NEW: In Pennsylvania, the early youth vote is at 318% compared to 2018, the early Black vote is at 1770% compared to 2018, and the early woman vote is at 725% compared to 2018. Something is happening in Pennsylvania.

So let me say it again, be as kind as you can for as long as you can to as many people as you can especially when they’re unkind to you.

The silence from too many about this this openly racist targeting of @tiffanydcross is appalling. The fact that the nation's most watched "news" channel is allowed to spew open white supremacy night after night is a sign of a society in deep peril.Too much complicity all around.
Got to be one of the most racist things on US TV in 50 years. Carlson talking about white women "as the key to reproducing the white race," and claiming black people are targeting white women for that reason. Adds that a black anchor "can barely speak a coherent sentence."

My greatest climate concern is upcoming #midterm2022 elections. If we lose our Democracy, we won't get it back. W/out climate leadership from U.S. (world's largest historical polluter), global climate action will falter. Vote like a livable planet depends on it. Because it does.

2b. A UN paper (shorturl.at/huBFK) found that “the likelihood of violence related to the use of, access to, and control over natural resources, may increase particularly in the context of scarcity, environmental pressures and climate change threats”.

2a. With the intensification of climate breakdown, women also experience increased mental and physical abuse. A 2020 @careintuk Report found that “all forms of gender-based violence against women and girls spike during disaster and conflict”.

1a. The climate crisis disproportionately impacts women, especially those within marginalised or vulnerable communities. Of the 1.3 billion people living in poverty worldwide, 70% are women who are most affected by extreme weather events like floods, droughts and forest fires.

How bad does it need to get before people realize what is happening right now? xitter.cf/GBBranstetter/status/1…
A speaker at a school board meeting in Conway, Arkansas told a crowd of students last night their queer classmates "deserve death." The speaker was in support of a sweeping rollback of trans rights in the district and followed a trans student speaking against it.
