"Reform's alternative budget released today includes many proposals that will finally get Britain's economy growing again.
Abolishing the Energy Profits Levy will play a crucial role in ensuring the country's energy security, which a recent ASI index ranked below Romania and Ukraine. Windfall taxes undermine the incentive on firms to be ready to drill when prices are high: without them, the UK's domestic energy supply will be far more secure, and the country will be less vulnerable to price hikes and energy crises. It will also lower electricity costs at a time of eye-wateringly high energy prices, which will cost the average family an extra £206 in the coming year.
The alternative budget's proposals will also give a desperately needed boost to housebuilding. Leaving the Aarhus convention, which paralyses planning reviews and raises costs for developers, will make it easier and faster to build new homes. Repealing Biodiversity Net Gain rules will also reduce costs and delays for housebuilders, 94% of which have been hit by delays due to the rule.
Taken together, these changes will mean more houses are built faster and for a lower cost - which will go a long way to solving Britain's housing crisis. If done right, planning deregulation like those proposed by this alternative budget could single-handedly raise long-run GDP by 7.05% - a rise of almost £3,000 per person."

So ITV infiltrates Reform, allegedly uses fake addresses, fake CVs and tampers with passport information, while undercover reporters are reportedly campaigning in local elections? 🤦🏻♀️
All to expose a few people saying stupid things?
I’m sorry, but ITV has some serious questions to answer. This should deeply concern everyone paying attention.

Understanding the position of Reform UK
It's a very small team, unlike other parties.
They're under enormous pressure. Last month they got more emails than The Tory party.
The Tories have 157 staff, Labour have over 300.
Reform has less than 20 full time, some are volunteers .
They've had several
by-elections, costly and time consuming legal battles, including the very important one that challenged the government who attempted to cancel the council elections. Which would have stopped nearly 5 million people having the right to vote.
A major victory that
♦️no other political figure challenged♦️
Remember that‼️
The media are constantly on their back.
They've just had to stand 2 key figures down.
The topics of the emails vary, with 100ds of particular concerns. The volume means they have to prioritise.
They're vetting 10,000 council candidates for next year, as some of the seats they won are up again .
They're also vetting 3,000 applicants for Parliamentary seats as they don't know when there will be a general election.
Vetting is tough because the media look for dirt on every candidate. Social media content from applicants is very important as the media use it as an excuse to denigrate people.
What is of no consequence as a layman, suddenly becomes newsworthy as a candidate.
Sadly sometimes people lie over incidental things on application.
Hence people are stood down after the fact. It's not personal, it's just avoiding media scrutiny as best they can.
It not easy hence I try my best as a bystander to unravel what's actually happening.
I'm not paid, I volunteer my input, and to be fair it's appreciated .
No other political party or individual is under this much pressure.
I actually don't know any one involved in politics who works harder than Nigel Farage. That is something I respect.
I help without instruction because I truly believe this is our one and only possibility to change politics.
I'm not looking for perfection.
For nearly 30 years, Nigel has tried his best to be moderately rightwing, whilst simultaneously highlighting severe problems that other political figures have ignored.
He's savvy enough to know, bring overly too right wing will simply crush any hopes of becoming a government.
We simply cannot afford that!
30 years of being outcast by the establishment, a fringe player that has taken enormous ridicule and downright insults. The establishment is literally punishing him for what they see as an audacious attempt to change the system.
Politics is different to activism and commentary, people need to understand that.
Politics has way more boundaries and hurdles to jump.
Being taken seriously and appearing level headed is all important if you want to prepare for government.
Believe me it takes more than a few radical tweets and FB posts to challenge the system, all the other parties, the MSM and former colleagues who seem hell bent on damage.
For Nigel Farage even if he's fortunate enough to win a general election, the pressure will not only continue it will get far worse.
The radical left will go into overdrive. Number 10 is hostile territory, I actually appreciate his indefatigable courage.
I've explained all this to help you understand what it's like under this much pressure.
Thanks for understanding 🙏

Lord Johnson stood up in the House of Lords and pulled Labour's electoral reform bill apart. Unite has handed Labour £52 million since 2001, yet ministers pushing "donor caps" go quiet on that one. Under the new rules union members get switched from opting in to opting out, and they can only escape on 1 January, with the union reminding them for ten years that they're still paying. Meanwhile photo ID gets swapped for an old credit card and nothing is done about family voting, sectarian voting or the violence facing candidates, including the murder of an 80 year old woman this summer for being in a political party.

This is a strong video. May seem odd to say now but back in 2015, not many MPs would have dared to highlight the flaws in mass immigration, which they do today.
Nigel Farage was an outsider, lone voice.
Credibility on contentious issues is admirable.

'On the face of it they are straightforwardly legal. I welcome these donations'
At the last election, Labour spent about £30 MILLION.
The Tories spent over £23 MILLION.
*Reform only spent £5.5m*
This is why they're terrified.
Spot on from Portillo. 🔥

Tonight in response to Labour's call to their members for donations, i decided to donate £100 to Reform UK.
It’s only a small donation, but every donation helps the party build, campaign and compete.
After all the attacks on Reform recently, I support them more than ever.
For me, defeating Labour at the next election is vital for our children’s futures.
Labour are now begging their own members for donations after Reform raised an extraordinary £72 million in just 24 hours.
But Labour members are taxpayers too.
They’ve endured the same tax rises, squeezed household budgets and cost of living pressures as everyone else.
And now the Labour Party wants them to dig even deeper into their pockets.
Imagine being asked to give MORE.
Labour look completely rattled by Reform’s financial firepower.
This party is in turmoil.

With this support, we’ll develop the most comprehensive plan for government in British history.
In our first 100 days, we will stop the boats, slash taxes and energy bills, and begin deporting illegal migrants.
We will fix Britain.

In Reform’s first 100 days, we will increase the Tax Free Personal Allowance to £15,000.
This will make the average working couple £1,000 better off.
Taxes are the highest they’ve been since WW2.
Why? Because the Tories and Labour waste your money. They’ve blown over £400 billion on migrant welfare and foreign aid this century.
We will cut the waste and cut your taxes.
We’ll cut migrant welfare, the boats and asylum, foreign aid, foreign social housing, the bloated civil service and quangos.
And yes, we’ll reform welfare. We’ll protect all those in need, but ensure that everyone able to work does so.
By cutting £80 billion of waste, we’ll reassure markets and bring down the insane debt interest payments.
That’s why we’ll be able to deliver this historic tax cut.
The Tories and Labour have destroyed your cost of living.
Only Reform will fix it.

The Great Barrier Reef has just recorded five years of near-record coral cover. AIMS data shows hard coral stable or rising across all zones. You won't read that in the Guardian, says Chris Morrison.

Today I organised and led a group of Sikh members on a visit to Clacton to show our support for @Nigel_Farage.
The political establishment and its opponents may continue to attack him, but ultimately the people decide, not the media, not Westminster, and not online campaigns.
Nigel has put his faith in the voters of Clacton, and that is exactly how democracy should work.
We were proud to stand alongside local supporters and send a simple message: let the people decide.

No one could accuse her of being a Faragist, yet she’s prepared to stand up for democracy 🗳️
There is no such thing as a “fake election”, and the major parties should be ashamed.
Well said, Justine 👏
