For most of my life growing up I was told the Bills would eventually leave Buffalo. Was told the market was too small. There weren’t enough big corporations or big enough money to keep a team. NFL owners would want to bolt to a bigger market as soon as they could. The opening of the stadium tonight means something far deeper than just an awesome new football stadium to many of us. It means the Bills are still here, and staying here. It means another generation can root for the BUFFALO Bills, and keep doing that, for many years to come. We’re here. We’ve made it. We’re not going anywhere. Enjoy tonight, #BillsMafia ❤️💙🦬🏈

Back in Toronto this week for the @CanadaPork conference. Always a pleasure to hear from Minister @CornwallHeath on the importance of international trade and market access to Canada’s pork sector. #cdnpoli

Securing Canadian beef export approval to the Dominican Republic is a big win—CMC advocated for this since 2023 and funded the audit that made it possible. With $200M+ in DR beef imports in 2025, this opens new markets and reflects Canada's food safety leadership
After more than two decades, Canadian beef is heading back to the Dominican Republic. This decision restores access to an important Caribbean market for Canadian beef and beef products, creating new opportunities for producers and processors to grow their businesses and reach new customers. We’ll keep working with our industry and international partners to open more doors for Canadian agriculture around the world. Encouraging to see U.S. agriculture speaking out on USMCA. @FarmBureau's call for negotiations to resume reflects the shared interest in restoring stability and predictability to an integrated trading relationship that American and Canadian farmers alike depend on. fb.org/news-release/usmca-ne…

CMC Director & President of @Conestoga_Meats, Arnold Drung met MP @TimLouisKitCon on proposed changes to meat inspection rules. Our asks: fix labour shortages & help provinces meet federal standards — don't lower the bar that keeps Canadian meat safe & trusted worldwide.

I’m shocked and saddened to hear of this news. Senator Todd Lewis was always a jovial and congenial individual. He and his grain farming background will be sorely missed in the upper chamber.
