1. You can’t drop a wireless earbud on an airplane that shoots back 4 rows and disappears forever
2. No charging
3. No cleaning charging ports
4. Don’t have to keep track of your buds and case.
5. Better sound/mic quality
6. No bluetooth headaches
7. Replacements cost $19 not $199
After moving back to wired headphones you finally realize how awful the wireless headphone experience really is.
He doesn’t know there’s a massive sports bar dead center to each stadium, massive tailgating areas and subway stop which is all of 10 minutes from infinite bars.
Philly has the best sports setup of any city.
If this deal slips, I am going to lose my fucking mind. I don’t want to hear about Legal, Procurement, InfoSec, the customer being on vacation, Mercury being in retrograde, or whatever the excuse is this week. You told me this was a September deal.
Should I call the customer myself and ask them why you can’t get a signature? Should I call your champion? Their CFO? Their fucking receptionist? Because if this thing isn’t signed by Friday, that’s what’s happening next.
And I swear to God, if I have to explain to the CRO why a deal that has been at 90% for six weeks is suddenly ‘pushing to Q4,’ I’m bringing you into the forecast call and you can explain it yourself. You can explain the procurement delay. You can explain why the close plan apparently consisted of hopes and vibes.
Do you understand how serious this is? This is the quarter. If this isn’t fixed, your forecast is getting burned to the ground, my forecast is getting burned to the ground, and I’m personally driving to the customer’s office with a DocuSign QR code taped to my fucking forehead.
ZERO CHANCE this slips. You know that, right?
This is a skill issue and complete misunderstanding of “sleep training”
There’s a difference between self soothing practice and abuse.
Night 1: check at 3, 5, then every 10 min
Night 2: 5, 10, then every 12 min
Increase gradually each night
Check-ins are brief and calmly reassuring your baby you are there.
For both our kids this took all of 3 Nights and magically they started sleeping through the night.
Kids need consistency, they need to know you’re there and more importantly they and the parents need sleep.
Our kids are model sleepers now at 2 and 5. I wouldn’t change a thing.
The definitive list
