“now what i’d say to you is that if our good friends in israel can build a highway on a mass grave of indigenous palestinians then what’s a few endangered lizards?”
Idk why they keep talking about killing native species for shit like roads and mines. Luxon is doing it now..

I think we're at a point where it may be worth asking the question
what percentage of disallowed votes on 7 November, caused in part or in full by National's legislative changes, would be the threshold for arguing to go back to the polls?
is there a level at which opposition parties undertake legal action for example? Is that even possible in NZ with the way the executive operates? What would that mean for the electorate & future elections. & what is being done NOW to ensure there is a pathway to that if required?
leftwing politician's associations are happily weaponised by NZ msm in a coordinated manner to influence an election
but if youre David Seymour, the president of the ACT Party gets name suppression on the BASIS of it being an election, then msm ignore the association completely!

Pretty much the only mainstream column warning about our creep toward world war, and it argues that it's *antiwar attitudes* & US reluctance to wage war on Russia that's the reason behind it. Perverse & nonsensical.

why is it always on critics & activists not to "rock the boat" or "impact the election" when it should be on pol parties & institutions not to fuck up in the first place?
simply be more ethical, transparent & engaged - this is the *least* that can be asked of representatives

This editorial is an object lesson is how dishonest pro Israel propaganda is. It
✓ Separates settler attacks form the Israeli state
✓ laments how being a journalist is now uniquely dangerous; listing only baddies countries as responsible (img 1)— entirely omits Israel

"An attack on Post photographer Heidi Levine is a reminder of the grave risks journalists take to show the world the truth."

bryce edwards has never seen racist bait that he doesn't want gobble down
singularly destructive to leftwing analysis of politics in this country - there's a reason he was ever able to hold down a long term commentary spot, and it isn't talent

🌿 The olive, one of the Bible’s seven blessed species of the Land of Israel, is being harvested now.
In this week’s Torah portion, Noach, a dove returns with an olive branch, a symbol of peace and new beginnings that lives on until today in Israel’s national emblem.
A timeless symbol of the peace we continue to hope for.

Speaking of school shooters, here's Admiral Bradley Cooper, who is personally responsible for murdering 120 children in Minab, probably deliberately after Trump and Hegseth gave him permission to kill the families of "terrorists," a policy both have long championed.

I am sympathetic to the people of Ukraine. That’s why I want a negotiated settlement to end the war, which is what the people of Ukraine want, rather than continuing to force them to keep fighting and dying in a war they don’t support like the people of Washington want to do.
Replying to @caitoz @LauraLoomerStan
Hi Caitlin. You are brilliant on Palestine, but I still don't get why you are not sympathetic to the people of Ukraine?
