“Relay Concept” vs BS Trapping Coverage. Empty corner step-up with 3 spaced weakside. As the BS occurs, closest weakside player pulls over as the release → ball handler hits the pull man → pull man finds the slipping roller. Coverage solution built out of a spacing template.

Studying the Joe Gallo Merrimack College matchup zone 📝 Guards are active with their hands to keep the ball out
Forwards play high to eliminate 3s
High post → 5 contests, forwards drop to protect rim/high-low
Corner/short corner → Opposite forward crackback rotation

Wing Player Development Session🏀 Heavy ball handle progressions to build strength + control.
Straight line attacks vs closeouts.
Finishing through contact.
Movement shooting off the catch. Player development isn’t random — it requires a clear, intentional plan. 📈

Labaron Philon film study 🎥 He controls the game with pace using his BTB speed stop to change pace, create space, and read the defense. Then he uses timing to initiate contact on bigs, taking away their ability to jump and finishing through contact. True 3-level scorer 📝

UConn has used middle third pin-downs flowing into Tarris Reed Jr. post ups this season. The middle third catch makes it extremely difficult for the defense to help, especially with shooters spaced in both corners. Advantage is created before the ball even hits the post.

Love how Duke used Cam Boozer as the handler in inverted ball screens. Physical downhill driver as the handler + shooter as the screener will cause mismatches and constant pressure on the defense. I’m actively looking to pursue the right GA opportunity for the 26/27 Season 📲

Student of the game. Box Exit Post Pin…from the film room to the court.

Great BLOB out of a box formation from Dave Rebibo of Team Why Not: STS action starts with a lane line down screen for Christian Collins to draw attention, followed by an exit screen freeing up Julius Price for a clean look.

Sports Academy Swish 2028 completes the summer winning the Hi-Top Hoops Hoopsteria 15u division in Vegas. Proud of this group, excited to watch them compete at the next level!

“Veer” is a great concept where the on-ball screener immediately veers off the ball screen to wide pin the player in the corner. Great action to get your shooter a good look out of transition flow
