Last year's rejection hurt, but it taught us one of the most important lessons: clarity beats theatrics. Stopped trying to sound big, focused on what we are actually building, who we are serving, and why they need it.
Big news: We’re joining @ycombinator W26! 🎉
One year ago, YC rejected us. @KuoCathleen and I bombed the interview trying to pitch a “grand vision” instead of focusing on fundamentals.
This time we did the opposite: answered questions simply and crisply about what we’re building, who uses it, and why.
We got the call from @bosmeny the same night at 10pm.
For future YC applicants: Build something and explain it clearly. No fluff or buzzwords - just fundamentals.
Your life can change really fast. Keep going.
