How a Dazzle is actually made? No AI, no filters, no tracing. Every piece is the iso contour set of a composed scalar field — and the thing that makes it work is that I never specify the line spacing.

That's the whole trick. The density gradient that makes it shimmer is a property of the function, not a decision I made. Try to draw that by hand and you'll fight the spacing on every curve.

Compose a function f(x,y), then draw its level sets. Contour spacing is then not a parameter at all: spacing ∝ 1/|∇f|. Where the field steepens, lines crowd. Where it flattens, they spread.
