This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible supervisor, supportive family, and soon-to-arrive baby cheering me on.

We just signed the contract with Routledge for the 2nd edition of our book on "Applied Spatial Statistics and Econometrics. Data Analysis in R". This is a huge project - it is 815 pages to refresh! But with @SpatialWarsaw team we will manage it! lnkd.in/d2k9rW7v

Check this out!! 😍 our new work is available now 🤩 is agglomeration happening in a void? No! It’s the people driving the business (it’s a causal mechanism!). We check this mechanism with a collection of methods, including a mediation model. A must read! 🤗
Our new paper: how economies of population density supplement the mechanism of agglomeration economies - a study on how population attracts firms to the place. We use spatial machine learning and a sample of 1 mln firms and 5.5 mln people!

Last week I submitted my PhD thesis. According to our regulations I’m no longer a PhD student. Also, there are still a few months until I’ll get my PhD.
So who am I now? 😆 new identity crisis unlocked. Maybe that’s the time for being “PhD candidate” or PhD in spec?
