I miss the days when “TAXES” used to be a surprise!!
-Your momma filed her taxes then went about her life. A random Wednesday, she at work, then BOOM, “a deposit of $8,672!!” She might leave work an hour or two early. Go take some cash out. Go handle a few adult/mommy duties while we still in school. Go home, constantly wait on us to get back from school so she can eagerly, but calmly tell them “go put your stuff down and get dressed, we leaving!!”
Then you’ll be like “where we going ma?” Then she slick pull her lil envelope out, shuffling through them 100’s, giving you a lil hint that that BAG on her 😂 then you see it & start asking “Oouu ma, you got your taxes!?” And the momma always reply “don’t worry bout it!! You must not want them shoes!?! Cause I’m leaving!!” (Knowing she not gone leave us😂)
then you & your siblings pile up in that car and yall go store to store. Then end the day eating out as a family. Then go home & look through all your new stuff like you just seeing it, while your momma in the living room, cleanining up, music playing and redecorating her house🥰
