There are some really cool AR games in the app stores, and it’s really disheartening to see them all have bad over all ratings because half the users are to stupid to understand basic AR and blame it on the devs for it not working

I miss the days of side quests being something you find in a rpg that ends up unlocking something huge later or more story.
I do not miss side quests being repeatable pointless filler to serve to distract from the pruned main story

People who think the quest is just as good as the vision is going to be have not worked in AR / MR for multiple years. ARKit has been and still is light years ahead of ARcore and pretty much any other sdk out there. At work we constantly have to dumb down things for android.
Don’t get me wrong, meta has its lace. But as the low budget alternative and that’s about it and the Pico4 is just as good if not better too. I have a quest 2, I like it at times. But if I were a richer man I would not be using that over the index, varjo, magic leap etc
