Emmit Johnson is a rookie and drafted in the 5th round. He forced the Chiefs to not only play him but make him RB2. If you are a good player..Reid will play you. Its that simple. Cyrus Allen was drafted in the 4th rd. If he doesn't play its because he hasn't earned it by his work

*Disclaimer* I am really doing this for my own sanity more than anything and disproving the idea that the Chiefs get favorable calls with the game on the line....
The last Raiders Possession featured 5 missed calls and 2 of which that should have been safeties...
1) GK almost gets his helmet taken off trying to get back to kirk (illegal hands to the face/hold either is a safety)
2) Chris Jones is held by two raiders in the endzone, you can see Linderbaum reach to hem him up
3) Kolton Miller gets a nice trip in on Ashton Gillotte for the takedown
4) FAU chops (which doesnt negate holding) and Miller hooks his left arm down. *Most questionable* of all of them...however...
5) The throw to Tre Tucker skips and is not a catch, but for some reason the booth review does not stop play and KC cant challenge (Reid could have taken a TO tho)
I'm willing to bet this was the weapon used in the attempted-pilot takeover of that plane headed to Israel.

Xavier Worthy has run a route on 90% of Patrick Mahomes dropbacks so far, most on the team. Worthy hasn't topped 25 yards in a game.
Dave Toub went from being one of the best specials teams coordinators to the worst in a short span of time. Chiefs special teams has been horrible.

The New England Patriots have gone cold overnight — right after Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s insider-info pipeline got dragged into the light.
Drake Maye is overrated and Mike Vrabel is a serial cheater, in more ways than one.
"AND ANOTHER DISASTROUS DECISION BY MAYE!"

NFL better pray for no serious injuries to Cowboys or Ravens today in Brazil. Weeks of warning signs ignored.
People wonder why the US is fucked up. Capitol Hill full of corrupt puppets wasting tax-payer dollars on a dog parade. WTF are we doing
How is Nick Folk still kicking for an NFL team? Kids are making 50 yarders with no shoes on College Gameday?
To all the people shitting on Kahlil Benson, it seems y'all forget the running game is part of football.
Kenneth Walker: 173 rush yards ~ most by a Chief since Jamaal Charles in 2012.
Chiefs: 220 rush yards ~ most in a game since 2020 vs. Bills.
Kahlil Benson On 32 pass-blocking snaps allowed just one pressure (3.2% rate) & zero sacks, the lowest pressure total among all Week 1 rookie tackles.
Obviously KC is going to scheme help for a ROOKIE UDFA that never started at LT, against one of the NFL’s strongest defenses. Dude balled out and played GREAT, give him his flowers.

A few corrections to this: The Josh Simmons issue started a week before the Lions game last season. He told the team he didn't know if he could play during warm-ups against the Jags on MNF. He ended up playing. He then left the city the Saturday after (the night before the Lions game). This was not approved. The team didn't know where he was for a lengthy period. They didn't inform his teammates of his whereabouts until the following Wednesday.
Moreover, he also took himself out of several series before that, once against the Eagles for an "eye" issue. People at the game say he was on the sidelines and no one checked his eye.
Let's go back to college:
Simmons randomly decommitted from Oregon to play for a much smaller school in San Diego State, close to home.
As mentioned below, he was also not present after his injury at Ohio State.
Likewise, why is he not on the sidelines now with the other injured Chiefs players?
I get this is a sensitive subject, and Chiefs fans don't like me providing this context, but we cover sports. It's a sports story.
The Chiefs need to find a new long-term LT. Simmons is not it. Whether it's his fault or not, he's not cut out to be a professional football player, which most teams acknowledged during the draft.
Even if he comes back this season, there will be instant concerns about how long until he takes off again.
(Final note: I have heard his wrist injury last year was real. That appears unrelated to the rest of this.)

Sounds like ARI head coach Mike LaFleur is not a Marvin Harrison Jr. fan. Wonder what his trade value is at this point?
