Remember when they sold us the slogan, “Go paperless, save trees, save the planet”? Now we've gone digital, and it's consuming enormous amounts of water, destroying ecosystems, harming bees, and contributing to environmental damage on a scale paper never did.

Mura's album is a good introduction to what oontz music sounds like... now I want to listen to kina Tina and Kato to try and get the lay of the oontz world in a kenyan context ... it definitely helped that Mura's face was the album cover tho🤭

Need to shift from cost of unga to cost of eggs and meat being too high…no logical reason why it can’t be addressed, and protein intake in general be treated as a national priority, especially given the developmental impact on a very young country.

A government that shuts down working health systems because its not putting money in the pockets of the high lords of corruption and is serving the common folk without problem is a government that should be fired and kicked out at dawn.

If we don't arrest and persecute the past and current criminals running this country we will never recover, we will forever be in the trenches.

I've been feeling uneasy for my friends at MS and the local industry for the last two days. Sorry 🤕 This job market is unlike anything you know from before, but luckily, there's still an infinite amount be explored in tech, don't resist, adapt quick, upskill, play a long game.

Wait until Kenyans learn that the FREE system Muranga County uses, is actually borrowed from the Ministry of Health and that means it can be used for free the whole country. But WSR & Aden can't use it. They want the one where there commission fees. Wako mboka
Kasongo fears seeing any County project succeeding while his national projects fail... He has shut down Murang'a Governor Kang'atas Afya Ke which was free of charge and forced them to join Taifa Care(SHA) and be paying H.E. Dr. Irungu Kang’ata today issued a public statement on the shutdown, noting that the decision was contrary to an earlier agreement on integrating Afya.ke with the national health system. Also present were Deputy Governor H.E. Stephen Munania, CECM for Health Dr. Fredrick Mbugua, and Chief Officer for Health Eliud Maina.

Kenyan-founded space technology startup Satlyt has raised $8 million (KSh1.04 billion) in seed funding led by non sibi ventures, with participation from TLCOM, Antler, Launch Africa Ventures and others. Founded in 2024 by Rama Afullo, a former SpaceX and Google engineer, the company builds software that lets satellites process data and run AI applications onboard, sending back results instead of raw data, and aims to link spacecraft from different operators into virtual AI data centres in space. Satlyt has disclosed NASA support worth $4 million and signed memoranda of understanding with the Kenya Space Agency and Angola’s GGPEN, though these are not confirmed commercial contracts or completed satellite deployments.
