Today I confirmed that someone whom I trusted and loved has been lying to me since the day I met them.
This post isn’t to drag them, be angry with them, or call them out.
At this point, I just genuinely wish to fully start moving on and walking away.
I don’t love who I became while I was with them, some moments were amazing, but I don’t like the type of person I’ve seen myself become over the last year.
At this point I feel 2 things:
1. Sadness. I actually just wish them well while I fully let them go.
2. Free. I second guessed so many things because of their lies and thought that so many problems were my own fault. It’s validating to at least know now that they were dishonest. And even though I feel sad right now, I finally have the chance to fully walk away and start over.
This post is for me.
I want to remember how I feel today. I want to remember what it was like to learn about their lies, but I also want to remember what it feels like to know that life will move on. That I can rebuild whatever kind of life I want and be happy. To have the freedom to pursue a genuine, selfish, happiness.
In a weird way, I am thankful for this pain. I think I was meant to meet this person and for them to be a lesson and a reminder that life is short and I can’t waste it. And I’m also thankful that they showed me so many more things about myself that I didn’t know beforehand.
I know I don’t post here often, but I think when I finally work back to who I’m supposed to be, I’ll be doing that.
So I guess look forward to whatever slop I’ll be putting on your timeline.
Thank you for reading this if you did, I’m gonna take a little time then come back swinging. I miss content, and I miss pushing myself. I’m sure I won’t be perfect, but I get to try and that’s what matters. ❤️
For those of you disappointed in the Steam Machine, Walmart actually has a decent PC for sale for $900.
I'd buy this if you're looking for something, this current market is so bad.
Jeff Bezos claims that one day we're not even going to try to have our own Gaming PC's...
That one day, e-sports and gaming in general is all just going to be done from the bare minimum college laptop while we rent a sliver of a GPU from a Data Center.
🙃
I got monetized on Insta and after I filled out the application for money, they try to sell you a Verification Badge.
There are 5 different tiers for a check mark, but guess how much the highest tier costs per month?
There’s a $1700 monitor being shown at CES right now.
Look at what it does and tell me if you think if this is good for gaming lol
Corsair just cancelled thousands of orders for RAM during the price hike and shortage.
It's one thing to not have enough inventory, but how do you mistake the price you're selling at?
I think they should honor the price, what about you?
Graphics Cards are about to cost $5,000.
Here is an option for those of you that don’t want to take out a loan and still be able to buy a card.
Hear me out…
There are a decent amount of RTX 3080’s selling on eBay for less than $300…
Newsis: Nvidia and AMD to significantly increase GPU prices starting next month. Describes RTX 5090 increasing from $2000 to $5000
"Both companies are reportedly planning to continue raising GPU prices every month going forward. It's highly likely that the price increases will extend across their entire product lineup, encompassing not only consumer GPUs but also GPUs for AI data centers and servers."
It’s probably time to remind you all that you can buy second hand hardware and not destroy your wallet.
Don’t pay for cloud gaming Jesus Christ
-be Tech Corporations
-grabs up all the ram for Ai
-leave consumers in the dust with extreme price inflation and shortages
-many consumers are price-walled off med-high end Hardware
-Corporations like Nvidia "saves the day" by selling you Geforce now, play games on their servers without a beefy PC...for a "reasonable monthly fee"
-Arbitrarily places limits on how long you can play games on their service.
-So that you have to pay extra on top of your subscription to "increase the limit"
Another certified "you will own nothing and you will be happy" this time courtesy of Nvidia.
And of course, I am expecting a high likelihood that Ai Bruhs will jump into this post to try and say its not a problem.
