UPDATE: One step forward; two steps back; and we might have collapsed just before the finish line 馃ぃ We were told on Tuesday that we would be going to Barcelona before Marseilles, and they would try to get us flights from there. 1/5

Last night, I saw the Captain (he's awesome) & asked about the quarantine rule He said he assumed shoreside had checked that it would be fine because we were booked in to dock there, & crew would only be transiting 4/5

A bit more good news last night... They will now try to get us home almost a week earlier than planned (instead of going as slowly as possible to save money on fuel). Why, thank you. We're now scheduled to arrive in Marseilles on the 14th May.

Update: On Wednesday our ship sailed to international waters. All European crew were transferred to a sister ship by tender boat. I'm so much happier than I have been. It's much better here. Fewer people in total (but lots of nice performers who we met in rehearsals);... 1/3

...the food and restaurant is a bit nicer, with healthy options (thus far); the wifi isn't quite as frustrating; the Captain makes frequent announcements to communicate what he knows/doesn't know; & I'm now in a passenger cabin, which has made a huge difference 2/3

Last night we set sail from Port Canaveral bound for Marseilles. We'll arrive in France 20th May, but we don't yet know the plan from there. So, we're still a long way from home but it's nice to know we're on our way. Thanks again for all your support & lovely messages. x 3/3

Update: Owing to the CDC's lack of understanding, US immigration laws, & Florida's unwillingness to allow healthy Brits to fly home we are having to sail back. Tomorrow, all NCL Europeans will be transferred to one ship which will sail to Marseilles in the next few days. 1/5

For years I have used weight training to keep my mental health in check. But that's impossible here - I can't just order some resistance bands online. I have so much pent-up tension & aggression that I'm not being myself, and I don't like the person I find myself being. 4/5

Thank you to the 4 cast mates I'm here with. I don't know what I would've done without the support of my 'brothers'. It doesn't even bear thinking about. And thank you to you reading this. Your RTs & kind messages of support truly mean so much. Stay safe & well. Love, KMx 5/5
