When did the evidence become too overwhelming to ignore?
Too many Mandela effects, too many changes that just can't be explained. Then comes the realization that you'll never be able to go back to the timeline you remember.
Who in the hell did this, and when did it start?
Here are a couple of events and items that convinced me. This first one was my last straw. After seeing it, I had absolutely no doubt that this is not my timeline or my universe. This thing never existed, ever. I have never known anything like it in the 55 years of my life.

Speaking of elections, I put this together for the 2020 election as a compare-and-contrast satire compilation. It highlights some very stark differences in reality between one campaign and the other, along with striking truths that were dismissed at the time. It got almost no circulation back then, but since it doesn't really apply to anything today, it will probably see a little more action now. Enjoy!
I spent the first eleven years of my life in the Bay Area, around people like this. My dad and my grandfather worked at IBM, on some of the first technologies we still use today. Your social standing should never depend on who you're attracted to. What consenting adults do in private is their own business, and it has nothing to do with their worth in society. The line is consent between adults. Anything without consent, or anything involving a minor, is a crime. People who commit those crimes, like rapists and child abusers, belong in prison, not in normal society. Some things simply shouldn't be tolerated.
That's where I'm going with this. Somewhere along the way, society started making sexuality a big part of your standing, and it was never supposed to be that way. What kind of person you are is what matters. Right now, I have a daughter and a son getting ready to move from elementary school toward high school, and I'm tired of watching the people around them, from schools to social media, push them to label themselves sexually. They're kids. They haven't figured out what they want for breakfast, let alone who they are. Let them finish school, grow up, and decide for themselves when they're ready, without that kind of pressure. Let kids just be kids.
And stop celebrating people because of who they like to have sex with. It's not appropriate, and it's not what society should be about. If you're promoting that, you need to stop. You need to stop now.
