There’s been some really exciting movement around Zcash NFTs lately, and I genuinely love seeing it. I’ve been following projects like @zksnarks_ , @BITFOOTS_ and @zaddrnet from day one, discovering them early, sharing them, tracking their progress and doing my part to help spread the word. For some of these, we’ve been waiting 7–10+ days for WL approval. But honestly, the process has started to feel a little frustrating. Seeing influencers apply much later and get approved almost immediately, while people who have been supporting the project from day one are still waiting, naturally gets discouraging. And to be clear, I’m not talking about everyone who gets WL. There are plenty of people and influencers who genuinely earned their spots through their contributions, and I have nothing against that. My only issue is this: If the WL is supposed to go to people who genuinely deserve it, then those who were there from the beginning, consistently supported the project, created content, brought people in and helped build the community should also be seriously considered. Because at some point, it gets tiring to: discover early, support, share, help grow the project, wait for days → watch people who arrived later get approved first. After experiencing the same feeling across @zksnarks, @BITFOOTS_ and @zaddrnet, I felt like I had to say something. I’m not targeting anyone here. I just hope the WL process can do a better job of recognizing the people who were genuinely early and consistently contributed.

I don’t usually chase WLs just for the sake of having one. When I find something I genuinely like, I prefer getting in early, learning about it, creating content around it and bringing more eyes to it. That’s how I’ve been approaching @zaddrnet. Hopefully the team sees the value in having people around who want to contribute before the collection goes live, not after.
