Great presentation from Robert @KretschmerLab at the Department of Chemistry @uOttawa of his very cool chemistry. It was great to have him here at uOttawa for this short research collaborative stay. Thanks to @AvHStiftung for enabling such international collaboration.
Thank you @m_murugesu for hosting me. It have been two wonderful weeks in Canada with plenty of scientific exchange. I enjoyed every minute! I am also very thankful to @AvHStiftung and TU CHEMnitz for support!
🧪 We’re hiring! 🚀

I really enjoyed my stay @WesternU
last week and they even had an office for me, so kind 😉
Many thanks to @marcuswdrover, @GilroyGroup and Johanna Blacquiere for the hospitality and the great discussions. And to the @AvHStiftung for financial support
There is a new aluminium(I) compound out there. Simon Schreiner went down in Group 13 and got a new member of the Fluind family. Great start of a joint project with Jens Beckman. Reactivity studies are underway - stay tuned!
Thanks to DFG for funding.

Today, our annual group trip took place. We hiked from the beautiful renaissance castle Wasserschloß Klaffenbach towards the brewery Einsiedel, where we got exposed to the details of brewing beer. Of course, the tour ended with a tasting of the various specialties they offer.
Happy to share another piece of the Work of @SimonSchreiner9, which has been conducted in close cooperation with the @MMHansmann_chem and is now published at @InorgChem
Thanks to @dfg_public and @ERC_Research for funding.

Another great scientist has been spotted here in #CHEMnitz. Mark @crimmingroup is around as a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Awardee of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Today he delivered a great talk on molecular editing today and sparked interesting discussions.
Replying to @makoto_B
Very nice, Makoto. 2026 + the year of aluminium
Guido Clever from TU Dortmund kicked-off our @GDCh_aktuell 2026 lecture series with an amazing talk on supramolecular chemistry. Thanks for visiting #CHEMnitz
Aylin's and Max's work on the activation of SF6 by our bis(gallylene) has been published @InorgChem . Nice collaboration with @RalfTonner. Thanks to @dfg_public for funding. #CHEMnitz
