'Lizzo said she is considering 'giving up on everyone and quitting' due to vile fat-shaming - I know how she feels, and that's why I think body-shaming like this should be a hate crime,' argues @emmieehw metro.co.uk/2023/06/05/after…

So peculiar how people think they can say anything as if it was their place to judge. We should not evaluate other people's bodies, not even when these bodies are excercising! This can be so damaging.

Furthermore, there will ALWAYS be people who think you are the wrong size, no matter what. So people should just understand to keep their mouths shut. I sometimes wear a hood, a cap and headphones as a signal 'don't comment, I don't care'.

Always defend the oppressed, and those whose voice is not heard, incl. animals. The Grand National: "officials also have to strike a balance that keeps the test of winning the Grand National a unique one". The uniqueness is indeed guaranteed, due to the consistent animal abuse.

As the protesters delayed the start of the race yesterday, some said they are actually harming the animals by making them wait longer. If the waiting is harmful to the animals, how about the injuries and deaths resulting from the race? What about the smacking and hitting?

Criticising The Grand National does not mean that this is the only form of animal cruelty people are against! We should oppress all exploitation, including that of animals.

"According to some surveys, girls as young as six recognise the expectation that they should be thin". I think for me this started when I was 4 or 5? As my girls are 4 & 6 now, this feels terrifying and I do whatever I can to save them from this poison
It appears to be economically rational for women to pursue being thin for returns in the labour market. That is a tragedy econ.st/3XvwoMz
