Yesterday, we had our second rehearsal at the @BarbicanCentre with @alisonbalsom and the @londonsymphony.
Sir Antonio Pappano helped us get even deeper into the music. It's amazing how the Trumpet Concerto is coming to life. Really looking forward for the UK premiere tonight at 7pm.

Me and McClenty Hunter digging in with Dave Stryker on his composition called “Prime” at the Berks Jazz Festival. Jared Gold is pumping on the B3. I’m been working with Dave Stryker for about 10 years now. Always fun to play with this group.

regardless, i am *profoundly* grateful for the people who do actually follow and support my music.

BOTD in Philadelphia, PA, he was a member of John Coltrane's quartet, but his solo work is just as deserving of praise and recognition.
Happy heavenly birthday to McCoy Tyner, who would have been 85 today.

Today would’ve been my brother Charlie’s 96th birthday... Here’s a clip from the documentary series “Beats of the Heart” — “Salsa: Latin Music of New York and Puerto Rico” to honor Charlie and the impact he made on his local community in the South Bronx. 🎹🎶🇵🇷🗽 #CharliePalmieri
