We used to get hurricanes all the time. Big, powerful storms—beautiful storms, but they were a disaster. And you know why? Because they didn’t respect America, they thought we were weak. So I called NOAA and FEMA and said “we’re changing it to the Gulf of America, because these hurricanes have gotta stop pushing us around, it’s not good.” And the weather people said “sir, you can’t just change the name of an ocean, it won’t stop the hurricanes, they’re too strong!” But we changed the name and we got Tim Apple to change the maps and now we don’t have hurricanes anymore.
🚨 #BREAKING: Since renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America this year, there have been zero hurricanes — the first time in over 100 years.

Masoumeh Ebtekar - also known as "Screaming Mary" - was the spokeswoman for the Islamic terrorists who stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979 and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days - subjecting them to beatings, starvation, and mock executions.
In 2014, the Obama Administration granted visas to her son and his family to enter the United States. In June 2016, the Obama Administration gave them lawful permanent resident status via the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program.
This week, I terminated their lawful permanent resident status and today, Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi, and their son are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement pending their removal from our country.
Her family should never have been allowed to benefit from the extraordinary privilege of living in our country.
America can never become home for anti-American terrorists or their families - and under the Trump Administration, it never will.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.
Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan."
This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.
The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

On April 3, 2026, @ICEgov officers in Los Angeles arrested Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and Sarinasadat Hosseiny, the niece and grandniece of Qasem Soleimani, the late head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was killed by a drone strike ordered by President Trump in 2020.
Soleimani Afshar entered the United States in June 2015 on a tourist visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2021, she became a green card holder under the Biden Administration. In July 2025, she filed a naturalization application where she disclosed, she traveled to Iran at least four times since being issued a green card. Her trips to Iran illustrate her asylum claims were fraudulent.
Her daughter, Sarinasadat Hosseiny, entered the United States in July 2015 on a student visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2023, she became a green card holder under the Biden administration.
It is a privilege to be granted green card to live in the United States of America. If we have reason to believe a green card holder poses a threat to the U.S., the green card will be revoked.
