Almost 30 years ago I got a call out of the blue. They asked my name and were under the impression the family line had ended. I assured her we had at least 3 generations alive. A long conversation followed, then she had the family bible, dating back into the 1800’s sent to me.

the storyline in this movie was quite entertaining, despite being fairly predictable, and there was a good amount of action throughout
🎬 i am wrath (2016)
It was about two years ago my belief in my own research and math was stronger than my fear. It meant decades of the stereotype, the tried and true required breaking my habits. It can be frightening am confident in the outcome. I am fortunate that I can make such a change .

Why would anyone welcome people who hate them and want to destroy them? You don’t do that in your home. Why in your country? This makes no sense to me.

Private equity has a problem. Wall Street has a fix: your 401k.
PE funds are sitting on trillions of dollars of companies they bought years ago and still cannot sell. Deal activity keeps falling, and the deals that do happen take longer and longer to close. The industry is gummed up.
So regulators just proposed opening private funds to everyday investors and retirement accounts. Read that again. The moment institutions stop buying what these funds are holding, the plan is to sell it to you.
These funds are illiquid, charge 2 and 20, and are hard to value. You may not get your money out when you need it. A pension can lock capital up for decades. You cannot. And the sponsor stocks themselves are down 12% to 36% this year.
When Wall Street is this eager to hand retail what institutions are backing away from, hold onto your wallet.

“Near-term power access is everything.”
The real advantage is finding power that can be accessed on the timelines customers need. Existing interconnections, former industrial sites, stranded infrastructure...
The market is now confronting a constraint $WULF has spent decades learning how to navigate 🐺

Anger on here does not appear to be very productive. Some people’s posts are best left unanswered if they’re demonstrably false or they have a history of being wrong. The bee does not waste time explaining to the fly that honey is better than crap.

I am an Iranian woman, speaking to you from Iran. We do not want the Islamic Republic. They know this, and that is why they kill us But nothing can stop the fall of a dictatorship. we are not afraid. We will take to the streets again.
If the premise is that VTC is going to $1M + then there really is a v long way to go before you are “too late. You might not make enough but you can still profits a win us a win whether it’s by one point or exponentially more. Best to buy now though. 😄
There are quite a few top tier investment opportunities that will make money. Some more than others, and some promoted harder in mean ways. Fact is not one person on here is 100% right. Those close to you value you as you are. They won’t remember the trade that was or wasn’t.
People will share more about what they hate than like on here. Be careful which is spending most of your time.

Activist: "Farmers pump their cows full of antibiotics. It's in every glass of milk."
Dairy farmer: "Do you know what happens if it is?"
Activist: "People drink it."
Dairy farmer: "The tanker gets tested at the gate. One cow's worth of antibiotic in 20,000 litres and the whole load goes down the drain. Every farm on the run that morning gets their milk tipped, and the farm that did it pays for all of it."
Activist: "So you're saying it never happens."
Dairy farmer: "I'm saying a treated cow on this farm gets red tape round her leg, goes to the back of the parlour, and her milk goes in a bucket for 6 days. I treat her like she's radioactive, because financially she is."
Activist: "You still use them."
Dairy farmer: "On a cow that's ill. Same as you. The vet writes it up, the date goes on the wall, and the wall's checked. Use on this farm is about half what it was 10 years ago, and that's every dairy I know."
Activist: "Routine use in feed, then."
Dairy farmer: "Illegal for years. Growth promoters went 20 years ago. You're describing a chicken shed in a country I don't farm in."
Activist: "You can't prove it's not in the milk."
Dairy farmer: "I can prove it 3 times a week, because they test it 3 times a week and send me the sheet. When did you last get a sheet on your oat drink?"
Activist: "That's different."
Dairy farmer: "It is. Nobody tests it. Mine's the most inspected liquid in your kitchen and it's the one you're scared of."
I wrestle with hate. Not the performative stuff on here. I spent almost 3 years in the Middle East. I hate radical Islam. Hate it. And I have friends who are Muslim, linguists who worked for me, people I know on here. Finding equanimity can be hard on days like yesterday.
AI is most recognizable when used by lazy people. Keep notes when you see it so you know who to avoid, not only for bad data but also the algorithm does not funnel more of the same your way. I am filtering out politics focusing on value. Engage value.

Monetization on this app is good for news - but terrible for the trading profession
Since loud sells and reasonableness doesn't
We are all suddenly being forced to play this X algo game that we dont want to be in lol
Everything we post will get shared or not shared depending on how the algo decides that day
We all came here to X to share our legit thoughts
But somehow it has turned into ''who can sell the best'' or ''who can be the loudest''
I am NOT a salesperson - I am a trader
If it continues like this, soon we will all have to hide our TA under clickbait to get normal views on this app
Hopefully it will even out

These are some of the final recorded FDNY radio communications from inside the South Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
In the final minutes before the tower collapsed, firefighters were still climbing toward the impact zone, searching for survivors and calling for more men to come up.
Battalion Chief Orio Palmer had reached the 78th floor. Lt. Joseph Leavey of Ladder 15 was climbing toward him. With barely two minutes remaining, Palmer called Battalion 9 Chief Edward Geraghty and told him they had access to the floors above.
Geraghty's response: “All right, I'm on my way up, Orio.”
Seconds later, a Ladder 15 firefighter radioed that he was trapped in an elevator shaft: “We're chopping through the wall to get out.”
The radio signal disappeared shortly afterward. The South Tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m.
Orio Palmer, Joseph Leavey and Edward Geraghty were killed that morning. They were still going up while others were trying to get out.
