To every Minnesotan who still carries the old DFL in their bones — the farmer, the iron worker, the teacher, the small-town Democrat who believed the party stood for the producer, the family, and the little guy against the powerful.
You were told the changes were progress. Fairness. Inclusion.
What you got was a $250 million theft from programs meant to feed children. Aimee Bock was sentenced to 41 years as the ringleader of Feeding Our Future. DFL officials lobbied to keep the money flowing even as staff raised alarms, and candidates took (then later returned) donations tied to people later convicted.
What you got is young men tied to Somali-American gangs turning suburban streets, high school homecoming games, and church grounds into shooting galleries. Law enforcement has identified roughly 300 members across a dozen groups responsible for recent waves of gunfire in Eden Prairie, Edina, Bloomington, and elsewhere.
What you got is a machine that demands your loyalty while it loots the treasury built by your labor and leaves victims in the street.
This was not an accident. It was not mere incompetence. It was intentional. They used the name, the history, and the trust of the Farmer-Labor tradition — the party that once organized farmers and workers against concentrated power — to build a syndicate that exploits the very people the old party claimed to protect.
The loyalty they now demand is no longer loyalty. It is blind submission to an evil that is harming Minnesotans and, in too many cases, killing them.
The old DFL would have named it and fought it. The current one covers for it, attacks the messengers, and keeps the money train moving.
You do not have to stay. Step away from the lie. Stand for the real Minnesota: the one that works, builds, farms, and protects its own.
Truth does not change because a party rebranded it.

Mr. Trump! You say that Zelenskyy is not someone you can work well with. But Ukraine does not have, and never will have, a president you would want to work with.
Back in 1994, the Russians didn’t want to deal with Kravchuk either, so they supported Kuchma in the election. The Russians liked Kuchma. He spoke Russian, played the guitar on Russian television, and sang Russian songs.
But once he became president, he repelled a Russian attack on Tuzla Island in the Kerch Strait and even wrote a book titled Ukraine Is Not Russia.
The second time, the Russians supported another guy they really liked in an election. That guy was… Volodymyr Zelenskyy!!
You won’t believe this, Mr. Trump, but this “Banderite” and “fascist” was once a fairly pro-Russian candidate. He said that to end the war, “we just need to stop shooting.” He was so willing to make a deal with Putin that he proposed “meeting halfway” over occupied Ukrainian territories.
Imagine that! The very same Zelenskyy was once so loyal to Putin and Russia that my friends and I even joined a “No to Capitulation!” march to prevent agreements that would have gone against Ukraine’s national interests.
But time passed, and now you claim that this man doesn’t want peace!
The truth is that no Ukrainian president will ever be acceptable to you. Unlike Russia and the United States, we don’t have tsars. And anyone who holds the office of president must defend Ukrainian interests or cease to be president. Just like Yanukovych.
Zelenskyy doesn’t reject peace. He rejects capitulation. Peace is not on the table. WE ARE NOT BEING OFFERED PEACE! Zelenskyy knows his people and understands that even if he agreed to capitulate, the Ukrainian people would never allow it, and he would cease to be president.
So, like any politician who understands his voters, Zelenskyy is not prepared to sign his own political death sentence along with Ukraine’s capitulation.
I’ve been reading the garbage you’ve been spewing lately, Mr. Trump, and it fills my heart with joy and warmth to watch you panic. You’re losing the elections, and it looks like you’re desperately grasping at straws by kicking Ukraine. But it’s not going to work!
American voters are wiser than you, and they will send you to the trash heap of history, along with your clownish dances, your lies, and your antics of an aging, bargain-basement Don Juan.

Let me count the ways:
• Crime that's made neighborhoods feel less safe
• During Metro Surge police were told to stand down multiple times. Roads were blocked by protesters. Businesses were being damaged. They were throwing bricks at ICE agents. Driving through the cities was eerily frightening. Protesters that were from out of state stopped my vehicle demanding my license. They surrounded my car. All the while, knowing that our politicians were encouraging all this chaos. Knowing that they will protect the criminals over me, a law abiding citizen. It’s very unsettling. I know they used signal chat and scanned my license plate. What are they going to do with my information?
• Taxes that keep climbing while the state still found a way to lose a billion-plus to fraud
• Being spun by the media instead of told the truth
• Kids' test scores sliding while Mississippi, once last in the nation, turned its reading scores around. It affects me because children are our future.
• A 2023 law making Minnesota a "refuge" for gender treatments for minors, decisions I believe should wait until adulthood
• Driver's licenses regardless of legal status, and cities limiting cooperation with ICE
• A new state flag we never got to vote on, replacing one people loved

Minneapolis spent $36 million on "violence prevention" — and a city audit just found nobody was watching the money.
The audit of the Neighborhood Safety Department covered 100+ contracts since 2020, $36M+ since 2023. The city's verdict on its own oversight: "not providing sufficient contract oversight or managing contracts effectively."
Invoices paid with missing documentation. No standardized site visits — the site-visit policy is still in draft form, five years in. Auditors flagged increased risk of "fraud, waste, and abuse."
FOX 9 found one contractor billed taxpayers $270,000+ without a single receipt. Others double-billed.
Now even the progressive city council wants to dismantle the whole Office of Community Safety. Council Member Wonsley: "It is good governance to stop investing in things that are not producing meaningful outcomes and are wasting taxpayer dollars."
Mayor Frey admitted the failures were "not entirely surprising" — "we've known the shortcomings for quite some time."
