Don’t let the “quick” response fill you. This request for all my information just got me put in ANOTHER person’s pile to have them review my file. Followed by a request for me to “give them time to review it”.
Hey @Marriott @MarriottBonvoy I have an customer case from over a month ago and cannot get anyone with authority to discuss it with me. In fact, someone closed it and I had to ask it to be reopened. Where’s basic customer service?

My dissertation student is looking for military families with kids in 4th or 5th grade for an IRB-approved study. Snowball sampling is approved - please share widely!

Btw - child has a 504 plan that specifically states unlimited medical absences can be excused. Can you imagine if this child didn’t have a parent who could navigate the system? I can and I still have a wee bit of fear.
Exhibit C: child was out for major surgery. Missed three days = 12 absences. Parent submits excuse from the HOSPITAL on first day back. Gets threatening letter in mail one week after. Front office says it takes 2 weeks to update paperwork.

Hey look. Here we are again. This migraine med that was finally approved for my teen in August 2021 by our insurance company, who then covered it for 17 months, is now being denied coverage by the SAME insurance company. Dr appealed. Denied a second time.
Replying to @Konijn
And … denied because not approved for under 18. Ok. I get it. But you already paid for it for 18 months. They are closer to 18 now than they were 18 months ago!
And by the way, the $800 shot 18 months ago would now cost us $2400+ out of pocket. #BigPharma keeps winning. While we sit here with a chronically ill child who can’t access necessary medication.
