BREAKING: Catherine Herridge just dropped a bombshell that could change everything about the Ilhan Omar case...and it has nothing to do with what federal agents were looking for in Monday's raid.
Herridge is reporting that seasoned federal investigators see passport fraud as another potential avenue for criminal prosecution.
The statute at the center of it: 18 U.S.C. § 1542 — False Statement in Application. It prohibits making false statements on a passport application, using a passport obtained through false statements, or using a passport under an assumed or false name to hide criminal behavior.
And here's the part that should worry Omar's legal team: the 10-year statute of limitations on passport fraud resets every single time the individual renews their passport — if the underlying application records, such as a Social Security Number, were obtained through fraud.
So why does that matter here? Remember the birthdate change. Omar's staff had her publicly listed birth year changed from 1981 to 1982 back in May 2019. If someone lied about their true date and place of birth to obtain a Social Security Number, that fraud doesn't expire the way most people think it does. Every passport renewal restarts the clock.
And federal investigators have run this exact playbook before.
After 9/11, when the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated Anwar al-Awlaki — the American-born cleric who became a top al Qaeda leader — a seasoned investigator ran down a scholarship scam: Awlaki had used his Yemeni passport and false claims about his birthplace to secure roughly $20,000 in USAID tuition money for Colorado State University. But the statute of limitations on the tuition fraud had already run out.
So a State Department Diplomatic Security agent found another way in. Awlaki had made false statements to secure a J-1 visa, then used a fraudulently obtained Social Security Number — falsely claiming he was born in Yemen — to obtain a U.S. passport. The passport fraud became the holding charge. Every renewal reset the 10-year clock.
Herridge's reporting doesn't say charges are coming. But it lays out a roadmap that federal investigators have walked before, and successfully.

Day 1, he was a hero. Day 4, he was the suspect.
July 27, 1996. Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta. Thousands of people are at a late-night concert. A security guard named Richard Jewell spots an unattended backpack under a bench.
He doesn't ignore it. He alerts the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and starts moving people away. Minutes later, the backpack, a pipe bomb, explodes.
Two people died: Alice Hawthorne, and a Turkish cameraman, Melih Uzunyol, who had a heart attack rushing to the scene. More than 100 were hurt. His quick action is credited with saving many lives.
He was praised on national TV. Then the story flipped. Within days, news reports said the FBI was looking at the "hero" guard as a possible bomber. Agents searched the apartment he shared with his mother. Reporters camped outside. Late-night comedians made him a punchline.
He had done nothing wrong.
On October 26, 1996, federal prosecutors formally cleared him. Years later, Eric Rudolph was arrested and, in 2005, pleaded guilty to the Olympic Park bombing and other attacks.
Jewell went back to work in law enforcement. He died in 2007 at 44. The man who saved lives spent the rest of his life trying to get his name back.
Before you share the accusation, ask whether you'd share the apology just as loudly.
Disclaimer: Richard Jewell was never charged with any crime, and prosecutors formally cleared him on October 26, 1996. Injury counts vary by source (about 111 hurt). Being a conservative woman on X brings out all the crazies. Just because I support my president, I support X, I support the conservative agenda, and I push conservative candidates and policies.
I have been stalked, harassed, doxxed, and threatened. I have been put on dangerous lists. My photo is currently sitting on a persons account on X that talks in a derogatory way about me and X says it doesn’t violate rules.
I have had photos stolen from my deceased mother’s account. I have had my criminal brothers information posted online without a care to the fact that it can put my family in danger. Somehow that also didn’t violate rules. (There was a reason why I don’t talk to my brother and moved across the country) My husband has been harassed.
I have been pretty transparent online and didn’t have to be. Some people wonder why others stay anon? This is why. Because somebody online triggers them so they go full blown psychopath.
I’ll never understand the mob mentality or I am going to get you bs but unhinged people will do what they do. They create groups to attack and coordinate against conservatives.
It takes a lot to stand up for what’s right and calling out the corruption when you see it. In darkness there is light.
I have filed police reports. I have also added an extra layer to my home and surroundings. We have cameras.

If you want to know why Grey left the platform, this is why. She saw the hell they're putting me and others like @Sassafrass_84, @SarahisCensored, and @MrsErikaKirk through on a daily basis and she decided that she will no longer give her money to a place that breeds this kind of evil.
If you ask all of us who have undergone a sustained and constant smear campaign in which every word, picture or deed is put under a microscope and twisted into something nefarious, you will see 4 women who struggle with PTSD to this day.

I can't even look at it without getting upset, so I've had Grok Bot archive it all with links and screenshots for the police. That little bot came out roughly the same time this guy got his account back, so perhaps this is divine intervention and I'm meant to go through the fire to show others how I survived and how I made it stop.
When Grey talks about how X taught them how to hunt, she's telling you the truth. X notified me that they instructed my hunters to say they're posting under "satire" or "parody" and then it will bypass the system. Like a good little sociopath, he followed instructions.

3+ years. When I tell you that my PTSD is profound and I live in fear, I am not overselling that. An obsession that lasts this long for someone who has never done anything to you makes me think he is capable of anything.

I didn't want to go through a hellish legal ordeal again like I did in my 20's when faced with sexual harassment so bad the man decided I needed to die and he wrote up exactly how he was going to do it. I won, but they drug me through the mud, and I was scarred afterward.
I want you all to understand this isn't just mean words. This is what they did:
~They stalked me and anyone associated with me for YEARS
~They released my full name and maiden name (my name is so unique that there are only 2 people in the world with that name, so it put a bullseye on me and my minor child for anyone who wans to hurt us)
~They posted about my car accident and warped the entire ordeal
~They pushed a couple of old clients to file against me for fraud when I didn't fraud anyone, which is why their crap never went anywhere
~They released the make and model of my vehicle to scare me
~They showed a panoramic view of my home and neighborhood to let me know they know where I live and can get me at any time if they want to (I assume that was the motivation, but they didn't state it specifically)
~The sickest part? They said I sexualize my daughter. I can't imagine a more horrific claim as an abuse survivor. (I have those screenshots archived)
~They honey-potted my daughter's father, and boy was this their Olympics. I did not leave that relationship in the right way, so I had no idea how much hate was in his heart, and I had no idea that he'd just make up terrible things to try to cozy up to the girl they sent to him to try to build a bond. His text messages to me at the time can prove that he lied through his teeth in horrible audio after audio. They released those audios as if they were TMZ and I'm a public official.
~They sent a sick email to my ex fiance at his job at an elementary school. He's tech savvy, so he saved the IP trace, but he couldn't get further than street crossroads.
~They're tried to threaten and menace my friend by posting her full name and screenshots of her husband's FB account for no reason.
So, I hope you understand when I have to take breaks, because though old Twitter was bad, X is far more unsafe than old Twitter ever thought about being.
I make an income off X now and have for a while. I like helping people and spreading the Gospel, yet they warp even that and say its my new "grift".
I'm going to go through hell prosecuting this man because though he is breaking the law with what he did, and is still doing, it's hard to enforce, but fortunately Grok Bot has helped me lay out the steps to do it, and in the comments you'll see the first page I submitted to police.
For other women going through this understand you have to build your case for police, and Grok Bot will keep a constant archive of proof. In the meantime, X won't do a damn thing about it.

Two Chicago food store operators just got taken down this morning in a massive $29.7 MILLION SNAP fraud scheme.
Jorag Yaseen and Rami Kanaan allegedly turned their stores into fraud machines — processing thousands of fake EBT transactions using stolen Ohio (and other state) SNAP cards. No real food was sold. Just pure theft of benefits meant for hungry families.
They were indicted in the Southern District of Ohio on multiple felonies and arrested in Chicago.
Assistant Attorney General McDonald didn’t hold back:
“There is no program too noble for a fraudster. They will take whatever they can no matter the financial cost and no matter the human toll.”
Meanwhile in Massachusetts, a two-time felon and Dominican national (suspected to be in the country illegally) was also charged for allegedly using a stolen identity to grab SNAP, Medicaid, and housing benefits.
This is part of a nationwide DOJ crackdown that just uncovered nearly $42 million in SNAP fraud.
