America's students deserve an education based on what works, not guesswork. Delivering on that promise is not possible without Federal investment in high-quality education R&D. Check out @KnowledgeAll's full messaging framework: knowledgeall.net/wp-content/…

“When you cut IES ... you are not continuing to make the investments that improve student outcomes, and we've seen from the NAEP scores that this is not a time to pull back on finding out what works for kids,” - Rachel Dinkes, CEO of @KnowledgeAll. politico.com/newsletters/wee…

Today marks 100 days until nearly $300 million in FY26 funding for Federal education research lapses on 9/30. Without it, we’ll lose key insights about what’s working (& what isn’t) in our education system. OMB & ED must act NOW to support students & families nationwide.

The recent NAEP long-term trend report showed mixed results for students. NAEP provides a snapshot. Federal investment in R&D enables us to understand what’s driving scores & what it will take to move them. That investment remains as important as ever. npr.org/2026/06/10/nx-s1-584…

As it stands, the Office of Management and Budget has apportioned only a tiny fraction of FY26 funding appropriated by Congress for Education Innovation and Research (EIR) and Comprehensive Centers (CCs), among many other programs. edweek.org/policy-politics/w…
