Vanities and chandeliers. Au pairs and castles in the countryside. Mangroves and perched views. Plush interiors and bespoke accessories. Fabulous opulence. Ambrosial decadence. It's me oh God hear my pleas.

I just don’t believe married men can have that much free time without failing as a husband. Surely there is more money to be made, a picture to be hung, a shelf to be built, a lawn to be mowed, a dish to be washed? 5 run clubs? When’s the last time you took your WIFE on a DATE?

2. Finding out they’d been lying to you about something significant the entire time. Something that if you’d known the truth about, you’d never have agreed to be with them in the first place. Betrayal hurts. But what hurts even deeper is deliberate deception. Looking back at the history of your relationship and having to question every single moment, every interaction because now you know their persona, who they claimed to be, was a carefully constructed ruse to entrap you. The worst part? It feels impossible to decipher the many lies from the few truths in between.

Jon Batiste seems to draw music from thin air. When Bill Whitaker sat in on a recording session, none of the music had been written down or rehearsed. Batiste is constantly improvising. cbsn.ws/4hITOL6

Jon Batiste’s wife, Suleika Jaouad, has been in and out of treatment for leukemia. Before they started dating, Batiste brought his band to her hospital ward and performed one of his so-called “love riots.” cbsn.ws/4etcJHs

I dropped my daughter off at my parents house without shoes (we'de been playing barefoot in the backyard all afternoon) and my mom sent her home in these. My grandmother's shoes from the 1920s.

I never dodged reading out loud in class. I was praying the teacher would pick the longest paragraph so I could show off my vocabulary and pronunciation. 😭😭
