It was a joy talking with Ivana. She shares an extremely important and nuanced perspective that is needed in the conversation about kids, family size, and cost.
P.S. family members always welcome on Know Why Podcast conversations!

I was honored to talk with @LibertyMcArtor on the @KnowWhyPodcast about the price of parenting. What do we miss when we only focus on the costs of the early years?

Here are two books I recommend. The first one I’m still reading, the second I’ve read two or three times. Both excellent, challenging, and just right for this moment. If you want some biblically sound help wrestling through what it means to forgive and make peace when it’s HARD, read these. @branthansen @KenSandeRW360

We’re seeing in real time at a large, cultural scale what scandalized and shocked the people Jesus spoke to in his earthly ministry: his call to love our enemies, to forgive, to make peace. This is literally core to the gospel. It IS the gospel, because it’s the forgiveness God has extended to us. But as we see, it is upside down from what even “good” people (people who see themselves as being opposed to evil) naturally comprehend. It is not in our nature to love and forgive.

Of Note: @FamStudies on the dangers of AI in the classroom
There are many ways AI can cause harm, even through apparently “safe” uses like EdTech in classrooms.
These are the realities we need to acknowledge and wrestle with as our nation delves deeper into AI innovation. @FamStudies
