@TeamYouTube We really need someone to take a closer look at what is happening with our Youtube channel. youtube.com/@SMKWcom
We have repeatedly had knife-related videos flagged under YouTube’s firearms policy, including older content that has been on the platform without issue.
Today, another older video was flagged for firearms. The video is simply a tour of our retail store, and the portion flagged is where we state that we are the world’s largest Case knife dealer. There are no firearms involved in that statement or that portion of the video.
At this point, we don’t know whether our channel is being repeatedly reported or whether YouTube’s automated moderation system is incorrectly identifying knife content as firearms content, but the repeated enforcement is putting our entire channel at risk.
We have tried appealing and reaching out through the available channels without getting this resolved. We are now only one strike away from potentially losing a channel and community we have spent years building.
@TeamYouTube, can someone please manually review what is happening with our channel and these repeated firearms violations? We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with an actual person and get this resolved.
