It’s funny seeing Knicks fans slowly realize that nobody cares about their Championship. It changed nothing. Nobody outside NYC has Brunson top 5. Nobody has him in any all-time talks. Nobody has him in “best of his generation” talks with Jokic SGA Giannis or Embiid. And everybody already knows he’s not winning another one so he’ll never make it to those talks. He doesn’t have the motion/too ugly to be a cover athlete. All the celebrity bandwagons and people who pretended to care have left by now. Everybody moved on to the World Cup. Brunson will retire and kids on TikTok will call him ball knowledge within 5 years. I almost feel bad. Literally all they got out of this was “No Larry?”

Brunson > Maxey Hart = VJ (arguably) Mikal < Brown OG > LeBron KAT > Embiid Sixers haven’t had an answer in two postseasons against Brunson. OG is on the rise and brings more to the table than a 40 year LeBron. Embiid is a traffic cone and always hurt. Knicks in 5.

People need to stop comparing Brunson and Maxey. When it’s time for Maxey to be better than Brunson he can’t. Over those two playoff series: Jalen Brunson averaged 32.9 points and 7.8 assists Tyrese Maxey averaged 25.2 points and 6.0 assists.
