Adrenaline affects shooting.** Each boost spent subtracts 10 points from the rating used for that shot. An 85 becomes 75, 65, then 55 with none left, before other modifiers. **2. Hot zones change the shot rating.** Cold: −2. Neutral: 0. Hot: +2. Lethal: +4. Those are rating points, not extra percentage points of makes. **3. Being hot or cold matters separately.** Frozen: −6. Cold: −3. Warm: +3. Hot or Takeover: +6 to the ratings in that skill group. This basic adjustment doesn’t boost Speed, Agility, Strength or Vertical. **4. Some NBA roster players have a hidden contest advantage.** Unfazed reduces contest strength. Examples include Curry and Lillard at 12%, Luka and Bird at 16%. That doesn’t mean 16% more makes. **5. Certain shooting badge bonuses share a +30 cap.** Their qualifying Bronze through Legend bonuses are +4, +8, +11, +15 and +19. Two qualifying +19 bonuses reach +30, not +38. This cap doesn’t cover every badge effect. **6. Yes, getting taller above 7 feet can make threes harder.** The researched height adjustment has no cut at 7′0″ or below, then roughly 7% at 7′1″, 12% at 7′2″ and 20% at 7′3″. A 50% starting chance becomes about 46.5%, 44% or 40% from that factor alone. **7. Meter off gives 10% more timing room.** A 30 ms jumper or layup window becomes 33 ms. This researched bonus doesn’t apply to the skill-dunk meter. **8. Active takeover can widen the window further.** Shot Artist and Calibrated give +50% for threes and shots beyond 20 feet, or +45% for ordinary mid-range shots. With meter off, a qualifying 30 ms window becomes 49.5 ms. The ability has to be active. **9. Low stamina lowers effective ratings.** With longer-term fatigue fresh, the shooting penalty begins below 61.11% of ordinary yellow capacity. With both blue extensions, that’s 43.65% of the whole expanded meter. An 85 Three-Point plays as about 83 at half ordinary capacity, 79 at a quarter and 32 at empty, from stamina alone. The last 10% of ordinary capacity adds a steep extra penalty.
