I saw of video of Ethan Hawke lamenting how he's not reading half as much as he once did. This is a much deeper and darker pattern. Some of the most avid readers I know, lifelong readers, have basically stopped. They hate it and can't even explain it, the fire's just gone out
Listening to Wolfmother's debut album and back in the mood to write mind-altering dark fantasies that take place in exotic dreamscapes and cosmic worlds of darkness without night.
It’s happening. 🤔
Author Tomi Adeyemi reveals that she has distanced herself from the upcoming film adaptation of her novel ‘CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE,’ directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood:
“there is a reason i will not post anything about the adaptation of my work… i have not seen the film, and i will not watch it. its been painful holding this back from you all.”
Might seem weird but I struggle when traveling between (Cedarvale) station and the end of line. Something akin to claustrophobia kicks in, a sort of panic that throws me off. It might be that the distance between stops lengthen making home feel farther away. #ttc #ttcstories
Good news for those who live in the city of @City_of_Vaughan . The Civilization is now available. vaughanpl.bibliocommons.com/… Thanks to @vaughanpl

I wrote a ramble on my Substack about the problem with StarFleet Academy and why I felt it was disappointing. substack.com/@ebonspace/note…
Starfleet Academy actor Karim Diane lashes out at fans, saying the show is intentionally a "middle finger" toward those who are not interested in identity politics:
“I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this: Star Trek has always been woke, and what is the alternative to being woke? Sleep? [Laughs] Cuz I’m not tired. “
“Being a part of this franchise has honestly felt like putting up a big middle finger to every racist, homophobic and sexist idea that tries to limit who gets to belong in the future. And even if we only had one season to share that message? I’d be proud. But we don’t. We have two. Two full seasons. Twenty hours of telling people: hey you, you belong here, and that is something to celebrate.”
Is this attitude from the cast and crew why the show is failing?
Ppl like RDJ as Tony Stark only. I sometimes wonder who makes these decisions and why I can’t get these executive jobs. The logic seems to be that Marvel isn’t doing well, so let’s pay RDJ $100 to return. This is gimmicky and will fail.
Dear @paramountplus why is the tv series, FROM delayed by 2 days in Canada? Everyone else has it by Saturday night.
It's been a rough week. Getting an eye infection and getting diagnosed with uveitis and mild lipotoxicity., respectively. Slowly recovering. The work begins. #healthcare
