Ever bake some bread that's so good, it makes you romanticize your own life? Ya know, just winding down, sipping some cozy tea, nibbling some decadent warm bread. The family all gathers 'round because you just can't resist another bite.

I'm supposed to be building my personal brand so that I can show publishers my sweet socials. So, idk, like this post if you like sci-fi, I guess.

Anyone else have fond memories of the good food they've enjoyed, or am I just fat?

Do I need another pretty notebook? Yes, of course. I'm a writer. Will I ever publish something I wrote in that pretty notebook? Mind your business.

My favorite career perk: I regularly make homemade bread because I have access to my kitchen during breaks.

I laugh in the face of writer's block! But writing every day with kids in the room? That's not a laughing matter. Shout out to all the working parents. We're going to survive.

My house is often full of the pitter-patter of little feet. But it is usually followed by the scrape-thump-crash of little hands raiding my cabinets.

My son at 2 months old and my husband at 4ish months old. No paternity test needed.

I'm not gentle parenting or attachment parenting or helicopter parenting or whatever label is popular on social media. You know what we're doing? We're making this up as we go and hoping our kid doesn't need therapy at 22.

My baby and husband are both morning people, so I guess my days of sleeping in are behind me. Send coffee.

When you're pregnant with your first baby, everyone tells you that your parents instincts will just kick in. Friends, that is a lie. You do not magically have parenting instincts. But you do have Google, so you'll still be fine.

With the 2000s coming back, are we all getting milky gel pens again? I could be down for that.
