Picked up this classic 2017 Cat by @CryptoKitties off the floor at @opensea tonight. Next year will be the tenth anniversary for this Cat. IMO, this collection has hit the bottom and the risk reward ratio is now with long term holders.

Cool website that visualises the proof structures of recent AI advances in Fermat's Last Theorem / Navier Stokes. Bewildering.

BAYC ruined NFTs.
A technology with actual potential became known worldwide as the ape thing and all we saw were copy and paste projects for years.
Reducing BAYC history to “holders rode 150 to 6” completely misses what BAYC did for NFTs.
BAYC gave NFTs culture, identity, community and mainstream attention at a time when most people still thought NFTs were just JPEGs.
It proved that an NFT could be more than art, it could be a membership, an identity, a brand and an entire ecosystem.
BAYC helped create the blueprint that countless collections followed after it. It pushed the idea that holders could have commercial rights, build businesses around their NFTs, create communities and turn a collection into a real brand.
It brought celebrities, brands, events, communities, IP, gaming and mainstream attention into the space.
Without BAYC, the NFT space would have looked very different today and probably much smaller.
The floor can go from 150 to 6 ETH.
That doesn’t erase what BAYC did for NFTs.
You don’t because they won’t. We need to stop the dishonesty

I approve of the term pre-NFT. Think this is a good descriptor. We should take on the comms challenge of some basic categories for all the breakthroughs that happened during this period.
Nerdy fun... I found an enormous prime number over the weekend...
For context, at 18,365 digits long it is still only 2% of what is needed to get into the top 5000 on prime pages - but for a home desktop computer (which also verified) it's not bad. Using the same approach (and with a bit of luck) I think I can hit a 100k digit prime (though would probably have to move to the cloud to verify).
More information about the technique I stumbled on here: halfasecond.com/zeta-doors with the additional benefit that a lot of the proof comes for free in the way the number hunt is set up in the first place.
Interesting... and thanks to @septiembre_eth for a clear, concise overview.
30 years (apparently) of listening to this album every couple of months...
