I want to share with the body of Christ what God reveals to me. I want to edify the body. Perhaps that is my gift & calling.

If you read the parable of the sheep and the goats as a list of things you must do to be saved, you’ve turned salvation into a works based system instead of a free gift of grace.
You’re putting the cart before the horse. The works didn’t make them sheep, the works revealed who the sheep were.
Fruit doesn’t make a tree what it is, it reveals what kind of tree it is.
Salvation is by grace, not by our performance. We’re saved by Christ, and the fruit that follows is evidence of His work in us.

If there was a group killing 1,076 puppies daily
Then selling their arms and legs for profit
All while their facilities were subsidized by taxpayers
There’d be non-stop news coverage
Planned Parenthood carries out these atrocities with human children
The media is silent

The four biggest killers in human history are communism, socialism, islam, and abortion. Democrats support them all. Very telling.

The media went into a frenzy over Israel passing a law that allows for the death penalty of Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel on October 7th.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is set to execute a man and woman for holding hands in public.
The media hasn’t said a word. Weird.

If you rely on any amount of good deeds to be saved, you won't fit through the narrow gate.
Christ alone saves. Good deeds are simply a result.

Why didn’t Ukraine bomb Russia’s LNG facilities? 🤔
I KNOW WHY…
The EU is still importing record amounts of Russian liquefied natural gas.
Europe lectures everyone about Putin while writing him fat checks for the fuel that keeps his war machine running.
Make it make sense. 🇺🇸

Why didn’t Zelenskyy hit any LNG refineries?
Oh that’s because Europe needs it and they are currently buying record amounts from Putin.
America needs diesel??? Blow it up.
Zelenskyy is a rat 🐀

For the people saying public executions are “Un-christian” I feel like none of you have ever even picked up a Bible. There has certainly always been a time and a place for public execution in Christendom, especially a jihadi murderer who killed fellow soldiers.

Seems like the Pope hasn’t actually read the Bible…
Old Testament Verses
•Genesis 9:6 – "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind."
•Exodus 21:12 – "Anyone who strikes a person with a fatal blow is to be put to death."
•Exodus 21:24 – prescribes the principle of lex talionis (retributive justice), stating "eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot."
•Leviticus 24:17 – "Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death."
•Numbers 35:30 – "Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness."
•Deuteronomy 17:6 – "On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness."
New Testament Verses
•Romans 13:4 – "For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.”
•Acts 25:11 – "If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die." (The Apostle Paul acknowledging the state's authority regarding capital offenses)
•John 8:7 (The Woman Caught in Adultery) – Jesus responds to a crowd seeking to stone a woman: "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

Um, when someone disagrees with the Bible, I'm gonna have to go with the Bible. Anybody with me on this one?

The argument isn't whether the Bible "mandates" the death penalty. You are moving the goal posts.
The Bible certainly permits the death penalty and calls for it in some situations.
The "but not in modern America" is just pure feminism, whether you realize it or not. Until Christ returns there will always be evil and it will need to be dealt with.
Thank God men will be here to keep the village safe.

There is no Biblical argument fundamentally against the death penalty. There never has been. There never will be. Because there isn’t one.
If you want to make a practical argument that entrusting such power to godless governments at given times in history is a bad idea since they will likely abuse it against godly people, that’s worthy of consideration.
But the premise still stands. There is no fundamental Biblical argument against it. The one time in Scripture God specifically established a specific nation state based on His character, He implemented it.
Being nicer than God is every bit a sin as being meaner. Both violate His Word and are disobedience. Taking God to charm school is just the other side of the coin of Talarico types putting Him through a struggle session.
God specifically reveals His character in His Word, and He doesn’t require an editor on consultant for modern audiences.
This has been my Ted Talk.

All throughout the Old Testament, God demands public executions for capital crimes. And in Romans 13 (that is the New Testament) we are told that the government is designed to terrorize evil doers. THAT is its fundamental purpose. To maintain order and restrain evil.
I believe our culture has been degraded by hiding the means of that restraint away. I’m not saying we make it a circus, but bearing public witness to the wages of evil acts grounds a culture morally. The public execution of Nidal Hasan perfectly accords with that.

The death penalty is not bloodlust. It is just, as God has said it is (Genesis 9:6, Exodus 21:12, Romans 13:4).
The only thing unjust about the execution of Nidal Hasan—who murdered 14 people in the name of his death cult—is that it has taken 17 years to carry out this sentence.
Kitkat retweeted
The public execution discourse is clearly showing that many of us lack the stomach to actually establish justice in this nation.
Kitkat retweeted
The state publicly executing evildoers does not encourage bloodlust. The state publicly executing evildoers actively discourages bloodlust, striking fear into the hearts of those who may otherwise shed innocent blood.

Here we go again.
You can’t be pro life and pro death penalty. Oh yes I can. You’re a Christian. And? Your point?
God is not against the death penalty. He may forgive, but the debt still gets paid.
• Genesis 9:6 — “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.”
• Romans 13:4 — the governing authority “does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.”
• Numbers 35:31 — “You shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.”
• Exodus 21:12 — “Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death.”
• Deuteronomy 19:21 — “life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.”
• Romans 6:23 — “the wages of sin is death.”
• 1 Peter 2:24 — Jesus “bore our sins in his body on the tree.”
The debt is still paid. Hope this helps.
