We have a teaching lab! Workshops (see our linktree above) will be hosted here at KG-S106. Can't wait to see you all!
We did it!!
I’m so proud of our @KitchenLabSci team. We have spent months developing home science kits for a chemistry for health sciences unit and they go to the students tomorrow. Hands on science at home for everyone. @QUTlearn @QUTEship @ashfordrowe @robinaxavierqut @HERDSACONNECT

We won and AAUT citation! I’m so proud of our Kitchen Lab team. Together, we took a crazy idea from white board and turned it into a nationally award winning program!
Loving what our MTeach students came up with for the Exploding Marshmallow experiment today for scientific inquiry! Check out our blog (link in bio) to recreate it for yourself!

What are your research failures? I had high evaporation in a tank experiment, killed all of my algae from the high salinity, and had to start the experiment again. Normalize learning from failure in science. #AMSAMFSS21 #ScienceTwitter #AcademicTwitter #WomenInSTEM
This weekend at #AMSAMFSS21 we shared our biggest research fails! Mine was when this reticulated #python came out and licked me on the thigh when I was ... err... well, you know. I’m challenging you to join me in sharing our #researchfails to normalise failure 🧑🏽🔬 #ScienceTwitter
Planning for the new year and celebrating our accomplishments! Looking forward to a new year with new achievements and ideas 🧪
Our lab bench or yours? Kitchen Lab is up and running at QUT on campus and online this semester! Come see the workshops we're offering!
