Rough cut night at Lux Studio, Paris. This week we shared a private screening of Time of the Nice Aunties with a small group of guests. After months in the edit suite, the film met a real cinema screen. It is a film made by @MartinDelpierre with @niceaunties, about AI, ageing and the place of women in society. Still a rough cut. Still moving. Release in December 2026. #TOTNA #TimeOfTheNiceAunties #niceaunties #roughcut #documentary #Paris

Look closer. There is a whole living room hiding inside that bun. @niceaunties, made tangible. Some things you frame, some things you keep in a tin. Time of the Nice Aunties Dinner. London. 14 may 2026.

What a film looks like before it looks like anything. @MartinDelpierre deep in the edit of "Time of the Nice Aunties". Somewhere in that green forest of sound waves there is an HDB flat, a green-haired artist (@niceaunties) and a whole universe being stitched together frame by frame.

Faces we have been living with for months, finally big. Sitting in the dark watching the first cut of "Time of the Nice Aunties" come together, and honestly it is the aunties who own the room. A documentary with the artist @niceaunties, in the making. Stay close.

A film with @Niceaunties - the digital artist already crossing over - the language AI is becoming in the right hands, and the moment digital culture becomes history. Narrative infrastructure for the worlds being born. Organised with the (amazing) help of @yannmathias (@culture3media) and @borgetsebastien More soon.

London, May 14. Twenty-four guests around one table. The first private screening of Time of the Nice Aunties' trailer - the documentary film we are producing at @KiritosuStudio with @niceaunties as the main character. No revolution is fully understood without art. @KiritosuStudio builds the narrative infrastructure of the worlds being born - film after film, collection after collection. Choosing Wenhui Lim was not only an aesthetic decision. It was a strategic one. 300,000 followers on Instagram. A visual language that speaks to grandmothers in Singapore and curators in London with the same clarity. The AI artist already crossing over - before the next zero gets added. Why Kiritosu. Cinematic craft - Hervé @MartinDelpierre's track record runs through Daft Punk, esports, CryptoPunks. Cinema, streaming, television. And native access to the cultures we document. A rare combination, in one studio. Thank you to everyone who joined us in London - and to @yannmathias (@culture3media) and @borgetsebastien for helping us co-organise the evening.

When Impressionism emerged, the critics called it unfinished. When photography arrived, painters said it was the end of art. When Cubism shattered perspective, the establishment was scandalized. Every great artistic revolution looks like chaos from the inside. @refikanadol just appeared on CBS' 60 Minutes - not as a curiosity, but as a defining voice of what's happening right now. His framing stopped me: AI is not the artist. It's the paintbrush. A thinking brush, as he puts it: one that doesn't need to dry, that moves in any shape, any color, any texture. The human vision still leads. The machine completes. We've been here before. Monet didn't fear the industrialization of color. Picasso didn't fear the camera. They picked up what the era gave them and pushed it somewhere no one had imagined. That's the moment we're living through. Again. At @KiritosuStudio, we built our practice around a simple conviction: the artists working at this intersection right now are not anomalies. They are the beginning of a movement that will be studied, collected, and remembered, the way we remember the Fauves, the Surrealists, the Abstract Expressionists. Our role is to be there. To document it, structure it, and give it the infrastructure it deserves, so that when this chapter is written, the work survives with the dignity it earned. The paintbrush just got smarter. The human holding it still makes all the difference. 60 Minutes / CBS News link: youtube.com/watch?v=8dkhBKej…

Producing films about emerging arts sounds glamorous. The reality is much messier. The most interesting cultural stories today don’t live in one format. They move between films, artworks, events, technology, and communities. With @KiritosuStudio and Hervé @MartinDelpierre we are experimenting with a “narrative factory.” From Coddess Variations with the @operadeparis to Time of the Nice Aunties with @niceaunties. A longer reflection below ⤵️

Why we built Kiritosu Studio. Not a production company. A bridge. Some of the most important art being made today - work at the intersection of sculpture, cinema, choreography, and emerging technology - has no natural home. It falls between categories. And what falls between categories tends to disappear. So we built a structure that could hold it all. Full interview with @JebbL at @RtClick_Save - link in comment

Huge congratulations to @refikanadol and Efsun Erkılıç for the bold vision and the flawless execution behind @DatalandMuseum. Building the world’s first museum dedicated to AI arts and data-driven creativity is not just an institutional milestone. It is a signal. A signal that culture is entering a new era where data becomes material, algorithms become collaborators, and imagination scales beyond traditional boundaries. What impresses most is the clarity of the long-term vision: • a new cultural infrastructure for AI art • a bridge between artists, technologists, collectors, and institutions • a platform designed not only for exhibition, but for participation This is how ecosystems are built. For us at @KiritosuStudio, this resonates deeply. We believe the next chapter of culture will be written at the intersection of narrative, technology and capital. What @DatalandMuseum represents is not simply a museum dedicated to AI art. It is a new storytelling infrastructure. A place where data becomes memory, where machines extend artistic gesture, and where institutions evolve to meet a new generation of creators and audiences. This moment isn’t just about innovation in spectacle, it’s about reimagining what culture and expression can be in a world where machines amplify, not replace, human creativity.

A film by Hervé @MartinDelpierre, inspired by the digital collection of @herminebourdin, "Under the Moon" is a film conceived as an experience to be lived as much as it is to be watched. At the crossroads of cinema, performance, and light, the project explores universal themes: the body, transformation, and femininity, through a sensitive and immersive form. With "Under the Moon", @KiritosuStudio affirms its mission: developing projects that move between film, installation, and events, ranging from more intimate forms such as "Under the Moon" to larger-scale projects like "Time of the Nice Aunties" with @niceaunties. The ambition is clear and constant: to bring these stories to the widest possible audience, and to turn emotion and discovery into shared experiences that resonate well beyond the art world. Thank you to @RtClick_Save and @JebbL for this exchange around "Under the Moon" and the way cinema, television, Web3, and art can now come together in new and meaningful ways. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 For three years, @Niceaunties has been building something that started as personal deprogramming and turned into a full cultural project, exploring themes of aging, beauty, personal freedom through her ‘auntie’ figures. In our latest write up by SILK editor @knacck_nina, we take a full deep-dive into the work of @Niceaunties, including how it began, where it’s gone and what holds it all together. → Full article: silkarthouse.com/features/th…
