I spent all of last week at Disney World with @MorrisMethod. I had such an amazing time. Everyone made me feel so special on my birthday. I can't wait to go back again one day.
Having an especially hard time finding jobs to apply for the past few weeks but I'm still trying. Hope I can find a job soon, it's very tough to stay positive right now. 😕
Back in March @MorrisMethod was very sweet and backed the campaign for me for a new Brandon Sanderson secret project book and for a storybook collection of Hoid’s stories. My books just got delivered and they look absolutely gorgeous. The art looks so nice in person. 💖
This month I’ve managed to read through a few different books. I reread through the fourth and fifth Brandon Sanderson’s Secret Project books, The Sunlit Man followed by Isles of the Emberdark. Both are still excellent and I really enjoyed reading them again.
My library finally had a copy of Blightfall available to check out, the first book in a sequel series to Skyward. I had really been looking forward to reading it but was pretty disappointed. I liked the returning characters but was very disinterested in all new characters in it.
Today @MorrisMethod and I had a great time visiting Spring Mill State Park with my Mom. The weather was beautiful and we actually got to see the mill running which was really cool. Glad we all got to have a nice day together.
Recently I’ve been trying to take advantage of playing games checked out from my library. Earlier this week I finished The Blood of Dawnwalker and I really enjoyed it. It’s from a new studio created by the director of Witcher 3 and I can definitely see the Witcher inspiration.
I also played through Kirby and the Forgotten Land, very cute but the add on stages and bosses were too much for me. I watched @MorrisMethod play through Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and we played through Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind together.
Earlier this week I finished reading the newest of Brandon Sanderson’s Secret Project books, The Fires of December. I absolutely loved the settings and characters. It’s hard to say everything I liked about the book without spoiling it.
I applied for a job yesterday & had an interview for it today. Honestly thought I did great on the interview. I did not get the job. Just wish someone would give me a chance. 🙃
Recently I’ve been reading through the Mistborn books for the Cosmere RPG including the World Guide, Handbook, & Mistborn Legacy campaign. I finished the last book today. My favorite parts were all of the new art in the books and reading through of the Scadrial history & lore.
Last week the ebook files were released for the latest of Brandon Sanderson’s secret project books, The Fires of December. @MorrisMethod was very sweet and got the book for me through their backerkit campaign earlier this year so I’m very excited to start reading it.

WWE & AEW are each having shows in Indy next week and I'm very bummed to not be going to them. Both shows were announced right after I got laid off in July. 🥲
I’ve gotten some long awaited good book mail recently. Two years ago, @MorrisMethod was very sweet and got me copies of all of the Cosmere RPG books from the kickstarter. Last year I got myself Stormlight RPG books which were so cool to read through and had gorgeous art.
This week I got my copies of the Mistborn RPG books! They look amazing and I can’t wait to read them. For Christmas last year I got myself a copy of the leatherbound edition of the first Wheel of Time book, The Eye of the World. The new art they made for it all looks fantastic.
