Currently volunteering at @KinverLibrary @StaffsLibraries and came across this, which is gorgeous and uplifting. Personally, I'm always on the lookout for pucturebooks featuring children in wheelchairs, if any come to mind.

This is the second reference to #HairyMaclary I've read this morning (after @ninastibbe). If I issue it during this morning's @KinverLibrary shift, I'll know its a sign - buy it for my great-nephew, perhaps?

This by @1ottie is a valuable insight into all aspects of life from a disabled person's viewpoint, told with humour and illuminating examples. A compelling read. I'm keen to hear recommendations for inclusive picturebooks, esp featuring wheelchairs @StaffsLibraries @KinverLibrary

For an impulse pick-up from @KinverLibrary where I volunteer, this was a great debut find and I'll be seeking out @LibbyPageWrites subsequent titles. Heartwarming and compelling exploration of ageless female friendships and the importance and power of community. @StaffsLibraries
