Busy first session of the week: 32 essentials food parcels. 75 people supported in 4 hours.
A gentle reminder: #dignity must be experienced, not just stated. Please donate food you’d serve to family or friends - not expired, opened or damaged items.
Care and compassion matter.
As #FoodbankFriday comes to a close, here’s a truth from this week that feels important to sit with.
This week we distributed 85 food parcels, supporting 128 adults and 59 children — 187 people across Perth and Kinross.
Spending time in-store @Morrisons Perth this week, talking with customers and sharing our #foodbankstory, was a reminder of something important: #peoplecare.
In just a couple of hours, #kindness, #compassion and #solidarity were everywhere.
So here’s the hope to hold onto: #hungerandhardship are real - but so is #community.
So many people want to stand alongside those facing crisis and say you’re not alone.
That’s how we keep going. #Together 💚
