I'm truly grateful for the sisters God gave me. 🙏 They work hard for their own money instead of depending on men. If they can't afford something, they ask me instead they don't call random men for help they take care of their own basics: hair, shoes, transport, and food. Even my elder sister used to support her boyfriend. Whenever they went out, I always gave them money so that if the date went wrong, they could pay thier own bills and leave with dignity. If we couldn't afford it, our parents would help, or she would simply cancel the outing. The two who are married chose well, and I pray the others do too. Train your sisters well.

DEATH AND HORROR OF MAJOR GENERAL AGUIYI IRONSI Major General Johnson Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi-ironsi was Nigeria’s First Military Head of State, and the first African to lead a United Nation military operation and also the first Major General in West Africa. He hailed from Ibeku Umuahia in Abia state. He ruled from 16th January 1966 until his assassination in the counter coup of 1966 which was also called the ‘July Rematch’ which was the second of many military coups in Nigeria. The counter coup was masterminded by Lt. Colonel Murtala Muhammed and many other rebel Northern military officers which included Captain Theophilus Danjuma, Lieutenant Muhammadu Buhari, Lieutenant Ibrahim Babangida and Lieutenant Sani Abacha. The coup began as a mutiny at roughly midnight on July 28, 1966 and was a reaction to the January 15, 1966 coup. On 28th July 1966 Aguiyi-Ironsi spent the night at the Government House in Ibadan, as part of a nationwide tour. (He was warned most notably by Ojukwu not to embark on the trip). His host, Lieutenant Colonel Adekunle Fajuyi, alerted him to a possible mutiny within the army. Ironsi desperately tried to contact his Army Chief of Staff, Yakubu Gowon, but he was unreachable. In the early hours of the morning, the Government House, Ibadan, was surrounded by soldiers led by Theophilus Danjuma. Danjuma arrested Aguiyi-Ironsi and questioned him about his alleged complicity in the coup, which saw the demise of the Sardauna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello. Both Aguiyi-ironsi and Fajuyi were driven away in a vehicle never to be seen alive again. Their corpses were later seen in a shallow pit with evidence showing that they had been stripped and severely tortured before being shot. So many Igbo Army officers were also assassinated during the counter coup. Fun Fact: He always carried his ‘Aguiyi’ (Alligator) staff around and people believe that they were able to kill him because he wasn’t with his Aguiyi the day he was assassinated.
