It was getting lonely here anyway & I'm mainly on Instagram or trying to write my Wordpress blog a bit more. Also attempting to be online less & in the real world more. Deleting the app but leaving this profile here for now🌿 witchmountain.co.uk

#Melbreak Hunt currently on Low Fell on land they have been banned from @felicityfox55
The dastardly Melbreak fell pack and its huntsman Edward Liddle of #Lorton in #Cumbria caused chaos on the fells whilst trespassing to hunt the fox. They ended up on NT -Herdus on a fox. Supporters watching from roadsides like ghouls.

Time to look for some blue sky... ? for a while I've thought, if all the good people stay on Twitter it will act as a counter balance- my feed is mostly lovely people - books, art and nature but maybe it's time to stop feeding the monster...

Frank Auerbach. What a life, such incredible dedication to art. Please do listen to our #ThisCulturalLife interview from January this year, it’s extraordinary.
Who would have thought that a 92 year old painter, who works every day & rarely gives interviews, would become one of our most popular #ThisCulturalLife @BBCRadio4 guests? I’ve had so many lovely messages about Frank Auerbach. He’s quite amazing. Listen: bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001vsb…

Lonely trees are not lonely; they have their eternal companies: songs of the birds; shadows of the clouds; lights of the Moon; whispers of the winds... Lonely trees are not lonely! ~ Mehmet Murat Ildan #trees #nature #landscape 📷 Nigel Francis

There’s a beauty about letter writing that is eternal. (And currently still an option for a little break from the general digital bombardment if anyone needed an alternative means to connect with friends and loved ones sometimes…) ✉️

Love Pilgrim, I was so excited when I saw this new story on @BBCiPlayer last night
So I just finished listening to the new Pilgrim story, Belle Meadow Fayre ... Talk about putting the folk and the horror into folk horror. Brilliant and brutal. Can't recommend it highly enough if you like that kind of thing. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0024f3…
