Open source is vital for the future of artificial intelligence and @GoDaddy bringing ANS into the Linux Foundation will be an important milestone.
Secure AI demands that agents have verifiable identity. To bridge this gap, we have announced the intent to launch the Agent Name Service (ANS), a new open source initiative establishing trusted identity infrastructure for AI agents.
With 82% of executives planning to adopt AI agents, establishing an open source trust infrastructure is a foundational requirement. ANS extends existing DNS infrastructure to enable portable identity, verification, and discovery at internet scale.
