Republicans really are just running on a platform of “we will kill all of you for money” and millions of people love it, because they think “all of you” doesn’t include them, and they think they’ll get a cut.

Very on brand for republicans to blame power outages in a state that they run entirely on the Green New Deal proposed by democrats that hasn’t even been voted on yet let alone taken effect.

The debate Democrats should be having is how much *more* we should be helping people this year, not how much less.
.@RepJayapal (D-Wash.) says she is in "non-stop" conversations w/ White House officials trying to prevent stimulus check thresholds from being lowered to $50K “The idea we should cave to one Democrat in the Senate does not make any sense to me," she says washingtonpost.com/us-policy…

Financial experts keep saying stock prices should be tied to value but what about the value of getting to ruin a hedge fund guy’s life

Gotta admit it’s really something to see Wall Streeters with a long history of treating our economy as a casino complain about a message board of posters also treating the market as a casino

Even if one assumes this as some totally innocent oversight, how does the department responsible remove ALL the panic buttons from a highly visible member’s office and NOT inform that member or their staff?

Trump and his team are trying to cover their actions yesterday and avoid being identified for inciting an attack on Congress. He is a clear + present danger as long as he is in office. Reports are indicating that he is unwell and getting worse. He must be removed from office.

Trump did NOT immediately send out the National Guard. No initial presence. Clashes began ~1:20pm. The breach happened (roughly) around 2/2:30. Around 3:38pm, DC council tweeted their request for National Guard was DENIED. When NG was approved, Trump wasn’t cited in decision.

The man directly responsible for the chaos of today is Donald Trump, who has made it clear that he will do anything to remain in power – including insurrection and inciting violence. Trump will go down in history as the worst and most dangerous president in history.

I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences. They have broken their sacred Oath of Office. I will be introducing a resolution calling for their expulsion.
