Someone thinks it’s spring.

Always been fond of St Bridget my mom Bríd was a fan. I used to get her a primrose on the 1st of February. I try now to make a cross or two this time of year to remember mom and the saint. Extraordinary women both.

This high tech solution to phones in the classroom came in at €13. Has been in operation for 3 years and I estimate that next year and additional €0 will be needed to maintain the service. There was no lobbying from Argos as part of this installation.

Honored to chat with this man. We talk about connecting with people and how vital that is. Well this is a 20 year connection. You never know where that first hello will go, so grateful for this one.

Mindfulness and Flow #Wellbeing delighted to have workshops today with @GoreyCS TY students. Creative and mindful roses closed out the session.

Delighted to be invited to participate in this learning platform. Sharing an introduction to mindfulness with a structured plan to bring it to learners in a Primary and Post Primary setting.

Can’t recommend spending a few hours with this man highly enough. We all lose our way from time to time. Skills to help get back on track can only a benefit and you can guarantee good humour along the way.

All material including sample papers and marking schemes should be available well in advance of any roll out. My research showed that JC suffered badly as those giving CPD did not have answers to reasonable teacher questions.

“In education ‘lethal mutation’ can be used to describe the phenomenon of perfectly sensible approaches to teaching being misunderstood or misapplied, to the point that they become harmful to students’ outcomes.” Also a symptom of insufficient CPD Senior Cycle here we come.

A must read for all interested in skills v knowledge based curriculum. Any hope @NormaFoleyTD1 and @NCCAie would take note before we dismantle our Senior Cycle?
