Some idle thoughts, loosely inspired by this thread:
- Writing good tests is harder than writing good code.
- Despite this, the work of test writing is lower prestige in our industry than the work of coding.
- Production pressure always pushes away from testing.
idk about you but no model has written any form of good tests for me

the llms basically substitute "does the code run at all" for unit tests, and they - without insane steering - in my experience will not generate any reasonable test that survives changes whatsoever

@NWSBayArea hi there - it looks like weather radio transmitter WZ2504 (Sonoma Mountain) went offline this morning around 5AM and is currently down. SAME receiver SNR/RSSI dropped off and I'm currently unable to receive on consumer radios ~3mi line-of-sight from transmitter.
