I stopped worrying about how to "save" money and focused on how I could make money.
been learning ever since
Google's rules for anyone sending 5,000+ emails a day:
- SPF and DKIM on your domain
- DMARC on your sending domain (a "none" policy is fine)
- From domain aligned with SPF or DKIM
- spam rate under 0.30% in Postmaster Tools
Simple stuff, but people overcomplicate it.
Every domain we set up for 2,000+ B2B companies gets all 3 records before it sends.
Full setup in the article below:
we fed claude everything we've learned helping 2,000+ B2B companies send cold email.
this is the whole outbound system, in one folder.
16 skills for the research, the copy, the replies and the math:
- a prospect researcher that finds one problem worth emailing about
- the math from the calls you want back to the emails you send a day
- a first line for every lead on your list
- 10 angles, ranked by which 4 to launch first
- a cutter that gets every email to 70-150 words
- a spam word stripper and a spintax spinner
- reply drafts for interested leads in under 5 minutes
... 16 skills total
go through all of it and it becomes pretty hard to NOT know why a campaign isn't booking calls.
want it?
1. follow me
2. comment "COLD"
and i'll send the whole folder over.
after 2,000+ B2B companies on Inframail, this is how I'd compress a month of testing an offer into 3 days.
The goal is to find out if strangers will actually pay, before you build a thing.
Here's how:
1. Have Claude write 10 angles for your offer, then pick the 4 you'd launch first.
2. Sell a tangible deliverable that gets a real result, and do as much of the work for them as you can.
3. Email 10,000 people who fit. At 4,000 a day that's 2 and a half days, once your inboxes are warm.
Email 1 never asks for a meeting.
4. Read every reply yourself:
- one positive lead per 700 to 800 emails = pretty good
- 12 to 14 positive leads on 10,000 = keep going
- way under that = the offer
5. Put the price in the offer.
"We'll build it for you for free. All you pay for is the software. Reply yes and I'll send a 2-minute video on how it works."
Then let the volume work.
If nobody bites, change the offer. Leave the infra alone.
6. Paste the replies into Claude and ask what the yeses had in common.
7. Send it all from Inframail, so testing an offer against the whole market is a 3-day job.
After 10k sends, decide.
SIMPLE AS THAT.
I don't think most senders understand what one cold email inbox does in a day
Here's how I run each one, after 2,000+ B2B companies
Days 1-14: 30 warm-up, zero cold
Day 15:
- 3 cold + 30 warm-up
- add 3 cold a day
Day 18 on:
- 10 cold + 30 warm-up = 40
- warm-up reply rate at 100
Warm-up never switches off.
A lot of people turn it off once they start sending.
Run the numbers.
How to size your cold email setup using what I learned from 2,000+ B2B companies
simply paste the prompt below into Claude.
---
The Prompt:
I want to send [X] cold emails a day.
1. Divide by 10 cold emails per inbox. That's my inbox count.
2. Divide inboxes by 5 per domain. That's my domain count.
3. Give me a 2-week warm-up plan before day 1.
We sent 237,454 cold emails in 30 days and got 701 positive leads.
After 2,000+ B2B companies, this is the exact setup I'd build from scratch:
- Secondary domains named after your niche
- 3-5 inboxes per domain, SPF/DKIM/DMARC passing
- 2 weeks of warm-up before any cold email
- 10 cold emails per inbox, 4,000 a day
- A 2-minute video ask as your first CTA

don't use Inframail for cold email lol
but if you decide to do it
$797/mo for 4,000 cold emails a day
everything included - domains, inboxes, leads, warm up, sequencer, AI deliverability manager
DM me '797' if you're interested ;)
Dillon Andrew, who connects company owners with lenders at Niche Capital, on the biggest mistake people make with AI in cold email:
He spent "some stupid amount of money" making every email completely personal with AI. "The thing took longer, cost money, and did worse than a generic email."
I broke down what to feed Claude instead in this article:

I interviewed Reese Queen, who runs a short-form content agency, and half his cold email plays would sound insane to most senders.
A few of them:
- 375 prospects in one segment, 32.8% replied, $108K in contracts
- 114 calls booked in 28 days, 90%+ showed
- Reddit for the words his market uses
- a 2,000+ word reply agent
If you send cold email, you cannot miss this (bookmark for later)
after booking 800+ calls with cold outbound, i put together a free course on how to book 30+ appointments a month with cold email.
here's what's inside:
- the patterning technique (the mindset module)
- the math on how many emails it takes to land 1 client
- setting up SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your inboxes
- warm-up, step by step
- getting testimonials before you have clients
- the punchy VSL outline that books meetings
- copy that converts, with spintax
- scraping unlimited leads
- your first campaign, plus the follow-ups
this is everything i'd teach a new hire, condensed into 1hr 20min. no opt-in.
comment "TOOLKIT" and i'll DM you the course.
If you send cold email at scale, the only infra advice you need is:
stop paying per inbox.
Here's the math on 400 inboxes, roughly what it takes to send 4,000 a day:
Google or Outlook at $5 an inbox = $2,000 a month.
And that's before data or a sequencer.
Double your volume and the bill doubles with it.
Everyone's going to say paying more means better deliverability.
I don't think that's true.
The backend of most cold email infra companies is virtually the same. Every Google reseller is quite literally the same thing. The only differences are support and service.
Here's what our customers see when they stop paying per inbox:
- Ben Tilley (Arinite) got to 80 domains for 10 times less than going direct to someone like Instantly
- Carson Spitzke (Spitz PR) gets 2.06 times more positive replies per dollar than on his Outlook setup
- Daphné Barret (LBM Partner) adds an inbox to every domain when she needs more volume, because the inboxes cost nothing extra
To be fair, Google and Outlook still have the best deliverability. I'd keep some in your stack.
But paying per inbox to scale cold email is DEAD
a cold email sequence is just
- email 1
- email 2
- email 3, max
very simple
anything after that is one more chance to get marked as spam. and complaints burn your domains
it's the same Google billboard on 3 blocks in a row. by the 4th one you'd vote to take it down
I'd rather email 10,000 new leads once than 1,000 leads 10 times
